And while many of those players might categorize themselves as hardcoreFortnitefans, the subset of that demographic dedicated enough to get a tattoo inspired by the game is plausibly much smaller. Smaller still is the number of people who have such ink on their foreheads, though it is ostensibly larger than zero. That’s according to a recent TikTok clip posted by one Memphis Manco, a tattoo artist based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. The 23-second video features Manco’s father, Donny, getting the game’s logo inked on his forehead, immediately above his right eyebrow, only to later conclude that his wife isn’t going to be pleased when she sees him. “Your mom’s gonna [sic] kill me,” he says to his son several times during the clip.
The tattooing video amassed 16 million views, 1.3 million likes, and 90,600 shares within 48 hours of emerging on TikTok. It also prompted over 13,000 comments featuring reactions that ranged from amusement and calls for the man toget his ownFortniteskinto complete and utter bewilderment.

Some of the people chiming in on the video expressed doubts about its authenticity, noting how the end result looked a bit too clean for a freshly finished tattoo. For clarity, tattoos often look blurry and even slightly smeared while healing. However, the star of the clip then appeared in another one of his son’s TikTok posts two days later, with theFortnitelogo still adorning his forehead, covered with a plastic foil wrap that’s used to minimize the chances of infections due to bacteria and germs getting under the skin while the tattoo is healing.
His wife, Sarah Jane Collins Manco, is also featured in the second clip. And while she didn’t use the video as an opportunity to outright comment on her husband’sFortniteforehead logo, the fact that the video itself depicts the couple getting revenge tattoos for each other probably says more about her opinion on the matter than words alone could.
