This is going to be a very big week forMarvel’s Avengers. Despite some serious concerns about the future of the game as the player base continues to shrink, the first major DLC is on the way to attempt to breath fresh life into the title after a very rocky launch. BeforeKate Bishop arrives on December 8, players can log back in and knock the rust off by completing this week’s challenges.

As always, there are a handful of priority missions, HARM challenges, and a Mega Hive to keep players occupied throughout the week. Endgame players who have been grinding away since the title launched a few months ago may see this week’s mission options as more of the same, but there are some decent rewards up for grabs forMarvel’s Avengersplayers who are still churning away for more experience points or trying to increase their power level.

As always, this week’s challenges bring a few tough modifiers to the war table, but players who take the time to plan ahead and note each modifiers effects should be able to complete the challenge without too much of a struggle. It’s important to analyze what the modifiers are bringing to the table and adjust builds and strategies accordingly before heading into the challenge blind. Although players may be a lot more powerful than they were a month ago (andhave some cooler cosmetic items), the modifiers can still lead to instant death even for highly skilled heroes with high power levels. Taking a moment to consider each modifier and plan a path to victory before jumping in is well worth the extra time.

Famine: Enemies do not drop Regen Packs when defeated

Turmoil: Significantly increased presence of Riotbots

Heavyweight: Enemy stun meters build at an increased rate

Goliath: Significantly increased presence of Exos

Bane: Significantly increased presence of Adaptoids

Super Charged: All heroic abilities charge faster and inflict more damage

Torpedo: Projectile damage from any source is greatly increased

Mega Hive

This week’s modifiers include: Famine, Clash, Heavyweight, Bane

Players should check back in the near future for more updates, news, strategy guides, and weekly rotation updates. Until next time, Avengers Assemble!

That should be everything players need to know to get through this week’s HARM challenges. Endgame players are likely morefocused on Tachyon Riftsat this point, but the HARM challenges are a nice warm-up for any player to work through once per week as long as new or rare comics are up for grabs as a reward.

Marvel’s Avengersis out now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions currently in development.
