Reddit user NaterBobber has given the cherry tree leaves a new makeover with a resource pack they created. In the image shared by the player, they first show the official cherry tree, whose light pink presence is very predominant. The second half of the image shows the same tree with the game using the resource pack. It still has the characteristic color, but with more green spaces between the flowers, adding more depth and reducing the “flat block” feel.Minecraftgot the cherry blossom biomeas part of the Trails and Tales update, bringing the beauty of one of the world’s most famous trees.
In the comments, other Redditors showed mixed feelings. Some approved of the change made by NaterBobber, with one player saying that although subtle, this change “looks much better.” A second Redditor said they didn’t like the “cotton candy look” of the cherry tree leaves, so they “would download the resource pack for sure.” Another player pointed out that the changed cherry trees “have too much space between the leaves.” A fourthMinecraftplayer said they prefer the original texture because its colors are more vivid.
