Summary
AMinecraftmod has created different variants of Endermen designed around biomes like the Ocean and Mushroom Fields. The Enderman has changed in a few ways sinceMinecraftwas released, but a mod overhauls the character to make it more unique.
Minecrafthas featured the Enderman since the beginning, but it has been adjusted a few times. The Enderman’s eye color was changed from green to purple, its smokey aura was changed to portal particles, and they stopped picking up certain blocks. While players may findtheMinecraftEndermanteleporting around the Overworld or in large cave networks, the mob is located more easily in The End and Warped Forests. Now, oneMinecraftmod can make Endermen reflect the various biomes in the game.

Reddit user Juuccaa recently shared a video showing off a mod with biome-specific Endermen. The clip begins by showing Endermen inMinecraft’s End dimensionin which one opens its mouth wide to reveal its teeth. A much taller Enderman walks by with what appears to be an Axolotl for a face. Returning to theMinecraftOverworld, Juuccaa’s video then shows an Enderman covered in colorful coral, a white one resembling a mushroom, and one with a tunic. Juuccaa’s video then highlights different types of armor that can seemingly be created with parts of the unique Endermen, providing added variety to the gear system.MinecraftSteve is shown wearing three distinct sets of armor, with presumably one for each new Enderman.
Based on Juuccaa’sMinecraftclip, there are also Endermen created for the Ashen Inferno, Badlands, Crimson Forest, Desert, Forest, Ice Plains, Nether Wastes, Oak, Snowy Tundra, and Warped Forest biomes. Contrary to the Enderman’s usual appearance, these biome-specific variants all have distinct designs that would prevent players from confusing one for the other. TheMinecraftmod is called Enderman Overhaul, and it provides 8 different types of Enderpearls to match the adjustments to the mob. The mod was made by a small team that has madeMinecraftmodslike Creatures and Beasts, Night Lights, and Lookin' Sharp.
Because theMinecraftEnderman is usually teleporting around the map, the mob may go from one biome to another. The biome-specific Endermen introduced with this mod may be limited to the space that the biome composes. Being stuck to specific biomes may make finding different ones easier in the Overworld than current methods for the standard Enderman. WhileMinecraft: Bedrock Editionis updated regularly, it’s currently unclear if the Enderman’s design will be changed in a future patch.
