Since then, the game that is based around building and surviving in a cube based world has managed to cultivate a huge audience who enjoy the freedom that the game gives them. This freedom has led to fan homages for a range of titles and it seems that this practice is set to continue. A player has now launched a playable server for theirMinecraftworld and a lot of fans are impressed.

The post on Reddit from user TheRealAlphaHydra noted that the server is completely playable and took the time to thank friends who had helped with the modeling of weapons from bothDestinyandDestiny 2. The player explained that they wanted to create this world because, “I love theDestinyuniverse and wanted to make it,” and many fans agree that this is a good a reason as any to begin creating a homage. The vast majority of players have been impressed by the server which includes numerous maps, guns, and bosses. It is clear that this fan has dedicated themselves to this achievement and many are now enjoying their work.
Destiny 2has had amazing fan tributesbut this will likely rank among one of the most impressive. The number of weapons and the large areas is undoubtedly the shining achievement in this server and it will be interesting to see how popular this server becomes among fans ofMinecraftandDestiny 2. Some fans have claimed that this has given them a reason to revisitMinecraftand the overall reception has been incredibly positive and some fans have noted that it could even be a fun stand-alone game.
This is not the firstgame to be recreated inMinecraftbut it is a significant achievement that appears to be pleasing fans ofDestiny 2. It will be interesting to see what the fans of the game produce next, but for now many will enjoy this sci-fi infused server which provides plenty of content.
