When discussing the most influential pieces of literature of the 20th century,Lord of the Rings, a fantasy epic authored by J. R. R. Tolkien, is bound to be mentioned. The story follows Frodo Baggins,a Hobbit from the Shire, as he journeys across Middle Earth attempting to destroy the One Ring. While on this adventure, he discovers many unusual locations teeming with even stranger people and creatures. Recently, one skilled gamer decided to reimagine what one of these places from the famous series would look like in the blocky world ofMinecraft.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as Jak03e shared a collection of pictures of a recent project they completed inMinecraft. While talented players were constantly building impressive creations, this particular build stood out from the rest because they had decided to recreate Bag End fromLord of the Rings. Taking inspiration from the design seen in the trilogy of movies directed by Peter Jackson, they managed to replicate the look of the iconic house ofBilbo and Frodo Baggins, building it into the side of a hill.

Some highlights of the exterior of the build included a manicured front lawn, complete with a small garden that contained pumpkins and flowers. In addition, several windows were placed on the side of the hill, and a door was visible leading into the house. They even managed to include a tree growing on top of the mound.

Besides the detailed exterior, Jake03e recreated the inside of the Hobbit home inMinecraft. The interior was intricately decorated with many kinds of wood and carpet. In addition, the creator included a cozy fireplace in the main living space, appropriate for a Hobbit dwelling. Some other noteworthy parts of the design were a kitchen filled with different foods, such as a cake, along with the office where Bilbo often worked on completing his book.
