While the Nintendo Switch may have missed out on the popularMonster Hunter World, Capcom had other plans for the portable console.Monster Hunter Rise, the latest entry in thefan favorite franchise recently launched exclusively for the Switchand it manages to blend elements from the old school games andMonster Hunter World, while also bringing a number of new features to the series as well.
In addition to a mix of fan-favorite and new monsters like the cover beast Magnamalo,Monster Hunter Risealso places anemphasis on verticality and movement thanks to the Wirebugas well as the Palamute mount. While the new dog-like Palamute can get players to and from battles very quickly, the Wirebug opens up a whole new way to move either in or outside of combat. Already, players have found exciting new ways to get around the more vertical maps, as well as pull off more acrobatic attacks against monsters using these little creatures.

For all of the new features and moves,Monster Hunter Risealso brings back a number of classic activities, some of which are not explained very well. During hunts, players may also come across strange objects like a Wyvern Egg with no hints as to what to do with them.
What To Do With Quality Wyvern Eggs
As players explore maps, they may come across items known as Quality Wyvern Eggs. These are an account item, which are rare finds unique to certain maps inside ofMonster Hunter Rise. Players will want to collect these items in order to receive typicallybig rewards like Kamura Pointsor for finishing off certain requests.
Quality Wyvern Eggs are different from most Account Items as it is actually a Delivery Item, requiring players to carry and bring it somewhere. The trick is that the item is very delicate and if it breaks, the reward is lost. Carrying the item also causes the player character to move slower and become more vulnerable to being attacked while getting hit will cause it to drop and break. Thankfully, players can still sprint, dash, and use Wirebug dashing to escape, though players will want to keep an eye on their stamina.
Delivering these eggs intact is well worth the effort as they award players with a large amount of Account Points, which are then converted into Kamura Points after the mission ends. These can be spent on Dango before a hunt at the Canteen, the Argosy to spend the points on unique goods at the specialty shop, or sending allies out on resource gathering hunts. Finally,Kamura Points can also be used on the Meowcenaries, sending them out on expeditions.
How to Get Quality Wyvern Eggs
TheShrine Ruins mapis the place to go for Quality Wyvern Eggs, specifically in zone 11 at the Northeastern corner of the map. Players can search randomized Wyvern Nests to collect an egg which will then instantly burden them. While holding the oversized egg, players will need to carefully walk back to the Main Camp location in Sector 1 without taking any damage. Once back at camp, players will need to place it inside of the Supply Box for the delivery to count.

While players may come across these naturally while they play, there’s a High-Rank Request they can participate in called Only the Good Eggs. Once accepted, players will need to deliver 2 Quality Wyvern Eggs for Yomogi the Chef. These can be found in sector 11 of theShrine Ruins while in High Rank. Finishing the request rewards players with Berry Safe Dango, a drink that prevents the player’s group from being penalized the first time a member faints.
Tips For Transporting A Quality Wyvern Egg
Balancing stamina is the key to successfully transporting a Quality Wyvern Egg to the drop-off point, as any missteps or contact with enemy monsters will cause the egg to break. Players will want to plan out a route, making sure they pass through an area with the least amount of enemies and obstacles present. It’s also important to keep the following things in mind:
