In an interview with ComicBook, Ninja expressed his desire to “be involved and do something withPokemon GO.” The streamer was quick to deny any desire to see himself featured within the game, but rather seek an opportunity to collaborate with Niantic. Throughout the interview, Ninja shares his love for the title and the way thatPokemon GObrings like-minded players together.
Ninja reflects on his experience with the game in a public setting and the feeling of meeting other players at the game’s “PokeStops” where players can acquire more resources to use in their Pokemon-catching adventures. The sense of community the game instills in its players is something Ninja stresses throughout the interview, mentioning how he plays the game with both his family and friends from his hometown. Recently,Pokemon GOended the first day of its annualPokemon GOFest with a bang witha large-scale Rayquaza raidwhich left fans young and old stunned.

Ninja has been featured in a wide variety of different styles of content, even starring in his own graphic novel,Ninja: War for the Dominions, so the idea of a collaboration with the massive AR game wouldn’t seem too far-fetched for the larger-than-life streaming superstar. From collaborations like a wackyNinja-themed skin inFall Guysto receiving awards like “Content Creator of the Year” at The Game Awards, no collaboration seems too crazy for Ninja. While no such collaboration between Ninja and Niantic has been confirmed by either side, Ninja certainly has enough star power to make fans of both titles eager at the prospect.
