One Piece’sprevious chapter turned out to be an emotional rollercoaster for the fans as Oda finally wrapped up the incredible story of Momonosuke and Kin’emon after years of build-up from Punk Hazard. With the group arriving in the Flower Capital, fans sawMomonosuke present himself to the people as the next Shogunof Wano. In doing so, he proclaimed that the people of Wano would never have to suffer again. Never again would they have to starve themselves or die of thirst, or die in slavery.
With that, a new era in the land of Wano finally began. At the same time, fans also got to see Yamato join the Straw Hat Pirates unofficially and introduce himself to the crew. With that,the post-Wano segment of the archas finally begun and from here onwards, fans are likely going to see quite a lot of big revelations being made starting withOne Piece1052, which is now just around the corner.

One Piece 1052: What To Expect From The Chapter
With Momonosuke already having been established as the Shogun of Wano and the Fire Festival having wrapped up already, fans are likely going to see the focus shift inOne Piece 1052to the Straw Hat Pirates. It is likely that the celebrations in the Wano Country will continue because of Momonosuke becoming the next Shogun and in the midst of it all, a lot of attention could go to the Straw Hat Pirates. Luffy and Zoro are still receiving treatment from Chopper, however, it shouldn’t be long before they are finally up.
This is likely because a big banquet needs to be held at the end of the Wano Country arc which Luffy already proclaimed that he would do. With that in mind, it is possible thatOne Piece chapter 1052of the story will see Luffy and Zoro make some progress towards recovery.The banquet that Luffy wants to holdto celebrate the victory over Kaido and Big Mom and officially introduce Jinbe and even Yamato as new members of the Straw Hat Crew will likely begin very soon. Before or after that, fans could get into the meaty section of the post-Wano section of the arc.

It must be remembered that the Straw Hat Pirates have quite a lot of Poneglyphs that need to be deciphered by Nico Robin. From Whole Cake Island, the Straw Hat Pirates, specifically, Brook, managed to get three Poneglyph rubbings, two of which were regular Poneglyphs and one the Road Poneglyph that Big Mom had in her possession. In the Wano Country arc, meanwhile, Brook found one Poneglyph under the Orochi castle, Law found one in the basement of Onigashima, whileKaido’s Road Poneglyph is still somewhere unknown. Fans could see the Straw Hat Pirates try to locate Kaido’s Road Poneglyph and this is where Yamato could, once again, come in, leading the crew to it. Nico Robin would then go on to decipher the six Poneglyphs at once, meaning fans are likely going to be at the receiving end of a ton of information dump from Eiichiro Oda very soon, and the beginning of that could very well be inOne Piece 1052.
One Piece 1052: The World Government To Make Its Move?
The World Government planned on seizing Wano Country along with Nico Robin, as explained by Rob Lucci a bunch of chapters ago. While their ships were already on the way to Wano, it was Zunesha who stood in their path, causing their ships to come to a halt. Since then, fans have not seen much of the World Government ships, however, this plot point could very well be brought up inOne Piece 1052. The World Government is likely to press towards Wano countrynow that Kaido and Big Mom have fallen, which they will likely find out through the one member of CP0 who escaped.

To deal with them, Momonosuke could have to communicate his wishes to Zunesha and ask him to smash through the incoming forces. Whether this will happen inOne Piece 1052or over the next few chapters is something that remains to be seen. Regardless, this plot point is likely to be touched upon very soon by Oda. Interestingly enough, Momonosuke claimed that the borders of Wano Country won’t be opened just yet, and thus, it is going to be exceedingly difficult for the World Government forces to break through the barrier and make their way into the Land of Wano safely, unless they call for Navy reinforcements. As such, it is likelier for their attempted assault to result in failure and for the remaining members of their forces to retreat for the time being. With that, Wano would be free from any immediate threat and would see the beginning of Momonosuke’s reign start of a great note of victory.
When Will One Piece 1052 Release?
One Pieceis not on break, meaning the chapter is set to come out later this week. As such, the next installment of the post-war chapters of Wano can be enjoyed uninterrupted by the fans. According to the MangaPlus app,One Piece 1052 is set to release on June 25, 2025. Fans can read the manga chapter for free on either the MangaPlus app or the Shonen Jump app if it’s available in their region.
