One Piecechapter 1080 recently introduced fans to the new Devil Fruit powers of a significant chunkof the Blackbeard Pirate crew. The Blackbeard Pirates are one of the main antagonistic groups, as fans know already, and with the story now in the final saga, it only makes sense for them to receive some spotlight as well. When Blackbeardfought against Trafalgar Law, a small chunk of the crew was able to demonstrate their powers effectively.

Now, as Vice Admiral Garp is raiding the Pirate Island, the group of the Blackbeard Pirates protecting the island received a chance to show their Devil Fruit powers. This group consists of Avalo Pizarro, the captain of the Fourth Ship of the Blackbeard Pirates, Vasco Shot, the captain of the 8th ship of the Blackbeard Pirates,Shiryu, the captain of the Second Shipof the Blackbeard Pirates, and, finally, Sanjuan Wolf, the captain of the 7th ship of the Blackbeard Pirates. It was recently revealed to the fans that Sanjuan Wolf has the powers of the Deka Deka no Mi, which make him a very dangerous pirate.
Who Is Sanjuan Wolf?
San Juan Wolf was introduced to the fans during the Marienford arc. It was revealed that Wolf was kept as a prisoner in Level 6 of Impel Down. This level, as fans know, is for the prisoners whose track record is so bad that they need to be erased from history itself. The fact that San Juan Wolf was imprisoned here means that he has committed atrocities of all kinds in his pirate career. Shortly after Blackbeard was made a member of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, he infiltrated the great stronghold of Impel Down and freed many Level Six inmates. He orchestrated a battle royal there and took the strongest of the Pirates with him.
The fact that San Juan Wolf was able to emerge as one of the victors means that he is extremely capable. Wolf is known to be a giant and, as such, he is from a race of warriors known to be the strongest in the world ofOne Piece. It is quite likely that Sanjuan Wolf is from the land of Elbaf in the New World. He is seen wearing clothes similar to those worn by the Elbaf Giants. After being freed by Blackbeard, Wolf was seen attacking Marineford, however, he didn’t really participate in the battle there. Shortly after the 2-year timeskip, he has been made a part of the 10 Titanic Captainsof the Blackbeard Pirates. He’s responsible for guarding the Yonko Blackbeard himself as the 7th Ship Captain and, as such, is a very capable pirate.
The Powers Of The Deka Deka no Mi
It was revealed to the fans shortly after the timeskip that the Blackbeard Pirates set out on a hunt for the strongest Devil Fruits across the Grand Line. Currently, they have acquired all the Devil Fruits that they need and, as such, it is not a surprise that all the members of the 10 Titanic Captains wield tremendously overpowered Devil Fruit abilities. InOne Piece1080, it was revealed to the fans that San Juan Wolf has the powers of the Deka Deka no Mi.This Devil Fruit is a Paramecia typeand, as implied from its name, it has to do with gigantification. Wolf is already a giant who towers tens of meters above an average human.

With the powers of the Paramecia type Deka Deka no Mi, San Juan Wolf gets to increase his size even further. In essence, he is the biggest giant in the world ofOne Piece,with no one even remotely close to his size. InOne Piecechapter 1080, Wolf was seen covering a large part of the entire island of Hachinosu by himself while sleeping, which just goes to show that he is truly ginormous in size, all thanks to the Deka Deka no Mi. It is believed that he can increase his size up to 180 meters, which is truly massive, however, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him grow even further as the story progresses, especially if he manages to awaken the Deka Deka no Mi.
How Strong Is Sanjuan Wolf?
San Juan Wolf is an extraordinarily powerful pirate and that was true even before he became a member of the Blackbeard Pirates. He was locked in level 6 of Impel Down, which in itself means that his crimes were great enough for the World Government to erase them from history entirely. His bounty was also already greater than 100 million berries, which just goes to show that San Juan Wolf was already a ferocious pirate in the world ofOne Piecebefore Blackbeard freed him. After being freed, he has become strong enough to establish himself as one of the 10 Titanic Captains of the crew and that is another indication of the fact that he is very strong.
When it comes to raw strength, he is probably second only to Jesus Burgess in the crew, who has the powers of the Ricky Ricky no Mi. Wolf is from the race of the strongest people in theOne Pieceworld. As such, for him to be among the very strongest of the crew should not be a surprise to anyone. With a size of 180 meters, Wolf should easily be able to wreak havoc on islands, potentially destroying cities with ease. If he is a user of Haki as well, Sanjuan Wolf should be at least as strong as an average Yonko Commander, if not stronger. As Garp has attacked Hachinosu, he will still have an opportunity to demonstrate his power. In the future, he will also clash against a member of the Straw Hat crew, and there, fans will truly get to see his power as a pirate, as well as his proficiency over the ability that is the Deka Deka no Mi.
