Summary
One Piecemanga is entering the final stage of the Egghead arc. It is the first arc in what has been dubbed the Final Saga of the manga. The Egghead arc has been full of twists and turns, making it difficult to predict what direction the story will go next. However, in the last few chapters, it has become evident that theOne Piecemanga is set to focus on the big war that is going to take place on Egghead.
St. Jaygarcia Saturn made his way to the island along with Kizaru and several other Vice Admirals. The aim of the assault is to kill Vegapunk, who made the error of delving into the Void Century.St. Jaygarcia Saturn also revealedthat aside from Vegapunk’s imminent death, they needed to ensure the safety of York, the Punk Records, and the factory that produces Mother Flame. The Navy didn’t know the situation inside the Frontier Dome until Lucci updated them. Shortly afterward, the Gorosei ordered Kizaru to enter the place using his powers. However, Kizaru had to face an old friend before he could go after Vegapunk.

The Past
Normally, Kizaru is relaxed in his approach, and he doesn’t disobey orders. So, it was surprising that Kizaru told St. Jaygarcia Saturn that he could not just fly over Sentomaru. The latter had met Kizaru and Vegapunk when he was still a kid. He was kicked out of the village because of his surreal strength. Vegapunk took a liking to Sentomaru and asked him to become his bodyguard. In order to become stronger, the kid asked Kizaru to train him.
The would-be Admiral accepted Sentomaru as his student and taught him everything that he knew. Given the fact that Sentomaru was trained by Kizaru, it is hardly surprising that he has such excellent control over his Haki. While Sentomaru is extremely close to Kizaru, he cannot let the Admiral kill Vegapunk. Sentomaru refused to lay down his weapon and join the Navy. He remained resolute and ordered the Pacifista to destroy all intruders. This made things complicated for the Navy, as they were already struggling with the Sea Beast Weapons. They could not handle so many Pacifista, and if things continued in the same manner, Vegapunk would have gotten off theisland with the Straw Hat Pirates. So Kizaru had to knock out Sentomaru at all costs.
The Fighters
Sentomaru is a strong character who can use two types of Haki. He was introduced in the Sabaody Archipelago arc, where he demonstrated his incredible strength. Sentomaru’s Busoshoku Haki is extremely impressive, and it allows him to hit his opponents without having to make contact. Sentomaru alsouses his Busoshoku Hakito defend himself from any incoming attacks, as evidenced by his defense against Rob Lucci. Sentomaru’s Kenbunshoku Haki is not as good as his Busoshoku Haki, but it is still levels above that of any regular Marine.

Kizaru is one of the three Navy Admirals who have devoted their lives for the sake of the World Government. Unlike most characters in the series, Kizaru is rather easygoing and doesn’t go all out in fights. When he arrived on Sabaody, he didn’t immediately start hunting pirates. It took him a while to figure out what he was supposed to do. In one swift moment, Kizaru’s entire mood changed, and he began to assault all the pirates ruthlessly. He fought multiple Supernovas and made short work of them. Needless to say, he would have captured all of them if he didn’t have to go after the Straw Hat Pirates.
Kizaru is proficient in Busoshoku and Kenbunshoku Haki. He possesses Advanced Busoshoku Haki, which he used to dispel Whitebeard’s quake in Marineford. Another evidence of his skill is that he taught Sentomaru how to use it. Kizaru very likely possesses Future Sight, and even though it has not officially been confirmed, there are many things that point to the Admiral having it. Kizaru alsopossesses the Pika Pika no Mi, a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to create and manipulate light. The Pika Pika no Ki has immensely high destructive power, which is one of the main reasons why Vegapunk chose to extensively research its properties. Kizaru has used the Pika Pika no Mi many times, so fans know that the Devil Fruit is capable of causing harm to the mightiest characters. Aside from regular Devil Fruit attacks, Kizaru can also create a sword of light, which he then uses to fight.
Master vs. Student
Before engaging in combat with Sentomaru, Kizaru advised him to step aside. However, the latter was unwilling to let Kizaru have his way.The Admiral’s initial attackwas blocked by Sentomaru, who showed his defensive prowess. Kizaru followed it up with Yasakani Sacred Jewel, forcing his opponent to dodge them. Sentomaru rushed toward his axe in hopes of using it to finish off his target.
However, Kizaru used his Future Sight to avoid the attack and then countered with a move of his own. This proved enough to defeat Sentomaru, after which Kizaru took command of the Pacifista and forced them to fight the Sea Beast Weapons. It doesn’t seem that Sentomaru is dead, but it will be a while before he gets up.
