Overwatch 2has released an emergency hotfix with nerfs for Ramattra and Zarya, and changes for Pharah, Illari, and Lucio. After the massive buff the tanks received in the mid-season update,Overwatch 2increased the cooldown of Ramattra’s Nemesis Form to 8 seconds, reduced its base armor to 75, and its base health to 250.Overwatch 2’s strongest womanalso received nerfs, with Zarya’s Projected Barrier and Particle Barrier having their cooldown increased to 11 seconds and their duration reduced to 2.25 seconds.

Overwatch 2 Releases New Patch Few Days After Mid-Season Update

Although it’s not thePharah nerfs requested byOverwatch 2players, Blizzard has decided to make a subtle adjustment and reduce the character’s base health from 250 to 225. Illari’s Healing Pylon now has a 14-second cooldown, and the cost of her ultimate, Captive Sun, has been increased by 12%. Another support that has been adjusted is Lucio, with his Sonic Amplifier’s knockback increased by 10%.

With the emergency patch,Overwatch 2has rolled back the buffs given to Zarya’s Particle Barrier and Projected Barrier, while making Ramattra less robust in his Nemesis Form. This adjustment by Blizzard should please players who play damage heroes, whose role passive was recently nerfed, making it less effective againstOverwatch 2’s tanks. While Lucio wasn’t mentioned in the previous patch notes, Illari received a change to the visibility of the Healing Pylon. Pharah, one of the most controversial heroes ofOverwatch 2Season 11, had her Concussive Blast reverted to what it was before Blizzard reworked the hero.
