Palworld’s Killamari is aDark-type Palthat resembles a squid and floats around the area with a gentle nature. Its dark purple saddle, which sits atop its head, resembles a beanie cap. According to its Paldeck entry,Killamariis not to be taken for granted, as it is known to wrap around the heads of humans and Pals and suck their insides. Regardless of its size, Killamari is a dangerous weapon and should not be taken for granted.
Upon being captured, Killamari’s utility will be best served away from the base and as part of anyPalworldteam. It isn’t as strong as other Dark-type Pals available at the same time, such as Daedream and Mau, but it can help a player get through different regions of the map quickly.

Where to Find Killamari
Don’t expect to run into Killamari whileventuring aroundPalworld’s regions. It won’t be roaming anywhere at any time of the day, as its spawn point is limited to dungeons only. Killamari can be found in dungeon rooms in groups of two or more and generally appear harmless as they float around. They will attempt to flee, so catching them off guard with a pre-emptive attack is the best approach.
Once inside a dungeon, Killamari is as common asFuddlerand Daedream, so it won’t be long before players spot a few. It’ll be an easy task to complete their Paldeck entry, as catching ten of this species will involve a couple of different rooms in the same dungeon run. Just be sure to have enoughPal Spheresbefore entering. They also tend to drop Venom Glands, perfect for the construction of Poison Bows and Arrows.

Killamari will attack if prompted and carries a versatile set of attacks that could catch a player off guard. Be prepared, as they tend to group together and battle as a collective unit, which could mean taking on three at once.
Killamari’s Work Suitability
Though Killamari is quite small, its Level 2 Transporting Work Suitability makes it a good option to have around at the base. Catching Killamari early ensures that the goods harvested at the base will be scooped up and distributed into the proper storage units in a quick manner, ensuring that there’s no clutter lying around. This works well in conjunction with Pals that can lumber and mine large quantities.
Killamari’s Partner Skill is also very useful in the early game whencrafting a gliderisn’t an option. Fried Squid allows players to hold the tentacles of Killamari and glide through the air for a long duration, making travel and accessing lands across large bodies of water a simple task. It’s ironic that this creature once would suck the brains out of victims but is now used as a glider while floating directly above the player’s head.

Killamari in Combat
Killamari doesn’t possess the strength or longevity to last on the battlefield or do much damage and is outclassed by other Dark types early on. What sets it apart from the others is the ability to learn a couple ofWater-type moves, creating some versatility and allowing it to compete against Fire-type Pals without gaining a secondary disadvantage. If built properly, Killamari could surprise many with the following moves to select from:
It likely won’t remain on the team for very long, as exploring areas further across the map will unlock the potential of stronger Dark-type Pals. For now, its ability to help players glide through the air and access those regions makes it a worthwhile ally to keep around. After it reaches the end of its use, allow it to roam around the base and serve as a helping hand for storing materials.
