How to Carry More Pikmin in Pikmin 4

Theonly way to increase the Pikmin carrying limit is to find Flarlic, an item out in the world that resembles a much paler version of the regular onion that is found at every base. Once the Pikmin has successfully transported a Flarlic back to the base, the Onion will absorb it and enable players to carry 10 more Pikmin.
Wild Pikmin
There is an exception where players can go over their limit while exploring the many caves, such as those found in theSun-Speckled Terrace. Wild Pikmin that join the squad can temporarily break the current limit, giving players a bigger squad to work with.
However, when returning to the surface, it will no longer be possible to be past the limit, and players will have to choose just which of the Pikmin to keep in their squad.
