Garden of the Seawas first released in January 2021 by Neat Corporation—withthe game being available on Oculus Questand on PC. The title is more of a relaxation sim than an actual game as it encourages players to go at their own pace. Similar to titles such asHarvest Moon,Minecraft, and other crafting and farming sims,Garden of the Seatakes a different approach by taking a lot of the elements and bringing them to VR in a more free and open setting. Perhaps its charm lies in the graphical representation—opting to go for a more cartoon look.

Users buying the PlayStation VR2 will be able to enjoy the diverse line-upof games. WithGarden of the Sea’s addition, a sim-like experience will be added to the list providing an option for players to take a break from more action-oriented releases such asHorizon Call of the Mountain, Resident Evil Village, The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR, and many others. As VR titles usually have shorter playtime than regular ones, the open-ended nature ofGarden of the Seawill help fans get more acquainted with the technology, as well as maximize their appreciation of the relaxing in-game atmosphere.
