Two of the latestPokemonfan designs come from Reddit user PhantomLink2782, who posted pictures of their custom Croagunk line evolutions on r/pokemon. First is Crokid,a custom Baby Pokemonthat evolves into Croagunk after achieving a high enough Friendship level. It indeed resembles an infant version of the Toxic Mouth Pokemon, with larger eyes, bright red cheeks, and Croagunk’s white chest stripes now lining its lower body in the form of a diaper. Croaknoxious finishes up the line, evolving from Toxicroak at level 65. It is much bulkier than its previous forms, with a larger head ridge and larger wrist blades.
Croagunk Gains A Fanmade Baby Form and Final Stage
The main Croagunk line that these two new fan-made evolutions are inspired by was first introduced inPokemon Diamond and Pearlfor the original Nintendo DS, where theycould be found and capturedin the Great Marsh of the Safari Zone and the Grand Underground. Since then, Croagunk and its evolved form Toxicroak have appeared in almost every subsequent mainlinePokemonentry, as well as the 2022 spin-offPokemon Legends: Arceus. Croagunk was also a playable character in the arcade and Nintendo Switch versions ofPokken Tournament DX.
Even before trying their hand at expanding the Croagunk line, PhantomLink2782 has created cute baby forms forpopular Pokemon like Psyduck, Sandshrew, and Meowth, as well as Poison-type variants of starter evolutions Infernape and Swampert. Their new baby form for Croagunk serves as an adorable beginning stage for the line, while the hulking Croaknoxious could easily be the final evolution of Toxicroak given its beefier appearance.
