TheFebruary 2022Pokemon GOcalendar of eventsis well underway and players are already rolling into the next big batch of festivities. As the Season of Heritage draws closer to an end, there are just a handful of official events for trainers to work through before the next big rotation arrives.
This week, the spotlight will be put on Valentine’s Day forPokemon GOplayers. The annual event is back and this time around it is busier than ever. The five-day event features new Pokemon debuts, anew Furfrou form, collection challenges, and tons more. PvE fans should get excited as well, because the event also features some unique Battle Raid bosses.

Whilethe Valentine’s Day 2022 eventis running (from Thursday, July 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, August 08, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time) trainers will be able to find some unique bosses at Gyms in the mobile AR game. Each tier of Battle Raid has some interesting and powerful bosses to battle and catch, so trainers should review the full list before deciding how they want to spend their precious Raid Passes during each day of the event.

Mega Raids
Houndoom (Mega)
Trainers can find aupdated list of Mega Houndoom counters right herefor the big fight. The list definitely has some interesting choices that could offer raiders powerful options for future Battle Raid lineups or for the PvP scene. The extra opportunity to pick up Registeel with the Zap Cannon attack in particular may be appealing to PvE fans who like putting the Regi-trio to work. The new Furfrou form that is available during the event may also lead to a slight increase in One-Star Battle Raid popularity for collectors and completionists. The even has a bit of something for everyone and is likely going to be a pretty popular series of activities to keep players engaged in the game through one of the coldest months of the year.
