A Redditor known as Draoneon posted a video showing the glitch in action, with the player using a shiny Giratina to battle a Drifloon. Draoneon has Giratina use the move Shadow Force, which begins its animation. During the attack, the Pokemon disappear and then reappears to begin inflicting damage. However, just as Giratina reappears during the attack, the game crashes. According to the Switch’s screen, the game was closed due to an error. Some readers stated thatPokemon Legends: Arceuswill crash whenever this situation is replicated and that this has been a glitch for some time.

Other Redditors seemed to enjoy the clip that Draoneon posted. One joked that Giratina was too strong, while another said that they wanted to be like Giratina someday. A commenter stated that the Switch saved the player, as Giratina was going to cross over into their dimension. Another joked that they did not want to see what came next after the attack. Another commenter mourned the poorPokemon Drifloonthat was at the receiving end of Giratina’s attack, to which Draoneon jokingly responded that the entire race deserves it. While the glitch is a serious one that can break the game, it is nice that this group of gamers were able to come together and jest about the situation.

The Giratina glitch is not the only one that gamers have found inPokemon Legends: Arceus. In a clip from a Redditor going by the handle sausageandtea, it can be seen that thePokemon Basculegion can fly. While attempting to ride a Basculegion in the water, the player double jumped. However, the Pokemon never came down. After the jumping inputs were entered, the Basculegion continued into the air and flew away. After a few moments of soaring through the sky, the Pokemon disappeared and the player found themselves reviving at the bank of the river where they had started. The glitch is an odd yet funny occurrence, showcasing one of the more humorous sides of gaming.
