How To Take Part In Flutter Mane 5-Star Tera Raid
Flutter Mane will be featuring in 5-star Tera Raid battles fromJanuary 26 to January 28 inPokemon Scarlet,and it can feature all the eighteen Tera-types. To take part in the event, players will firstneed to unlock 5-star raids. Then, simply connect to the internet and then head to the Poke Portal in the in-game menu. From there, select Mystery Gift and then Check Poke Portal News.
While a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is not required to access the Mystery Gift, players will need it if they want to battle with other trainers online. Last but not least, the Tera Raid will be taking place in the Paldea region, so owning the expansions is not necessary.
Best Counters For Flutter Mane 5-Star Tera Raid
This Tera Raid is trickier than some of the others, considering that Flutter Mane can appear in different Tera-types. Since Tera-type changes the Pokemon’s weaknesses, solely relying on Flutter Mane’s weakness to Steel and Ghost types might not be the best idea to take on this raid. Instead, focus on building a well-rounded team that works against most Tera-types.
A crucial thing to note is that Flutter Mane’s ability, Protosynthesis, can easily make it a formidable target. However, players can counter it by either playing it to their advantage or simply nullifying it. To make Protosynthesis inactive, players can counter Sunny Day by using a Pokemon with Rain Dance. The other option is to use your own Flutter Mane, which is considered one of the go-to strategies to beat Flutter Mane.
Scizor andIncineroar are great optionsfor countering Flutter Mane as well, so players can try those as well for a change. Last but not least, the good old master of Tera Raids, Adamant-nature Annihilape with Defiant ability can work against a variety of Flutter Mane Tera types.
