4Tagtree Thicket

Tagtree Thicket is located in Paldea’s northeast section and is a relatively small area. Located within it and taking up a huge chunk of the terrain is a Team Star Base. Players will know they are headed toward it when they see banners while exploring East Province (Area Three). There is also a second entrance to the Tagtree Thicket through East Province (Area Three).

Within this area is an abundance of Pokemon. Players will want to take their time exploring the small area to find every last one of them. Included in the number of those available are three fairy-types. Mimikyu, Impidimp, and Morgrem will be somewhere among the trees, ripe for the taking. In addition to all the Pokemon, the area isfull of NPCs and items, making it worth the trip to get there. This is one area players do not want to rush through despite its small size.

If playersfollow the storylinewhen exploring for Pokemon, following their visit to the Poco Path Lighthouse, they’ll be tasked with moving on to Los Platos. The way to get there is through South Province (Area One). In this area, they’ll have their first major encounter with Pokemon of levels 3 through 7. This is a great spot to begin their serious collecting, creating a basic start to what will eventually be a massive holding of Pokemon.

They should come prepared with plenty Pokeballs when it’s time to visit this location even though it’s still early in the game. While they’re on the hunt for these four Pokemon, they may come across some other types they want to catch as well, as this area is pretty busy.

2Glaseado Mountain

Glaseado Mountain is the location for the final gym battle in the game if the player is following the suggested order. Glaseado Gym features thestrongest of all the gym leaders, making it the most challenging of the battles. In addition to having the gym be the main goal here, there are plenty of Pokemon available for the player to try their hand at catching.

While this is an excellent location forfinding ice-type Pokemon, there are several fairy-types available, making this one of the hottest spots in Paldea to find them. In fact, there is only one spot with more fairy-type activity than Glaseado Mountain. The available fairy-type Pokemon in this area include Kirlia, Gardevoir, Mimikyu, Klefki, and Tinkatuff. Before rushing off to face the gym leader, the player will want to take their time exploring, looking for all the Pokemon and available items this location has to offer. They may find something to give them the upper hand when it comes down to the final battle.

1South Province (Area Two)

To explore South Province (Area Two), the player’s team should be between levels 7 and 11. This area is located outside Mesagoza’s western gate and must be passed through to reach Cortondo when the player is on the Victory Road quest. While most of the Pokemon in this area fall between those levels of 7 and 11, players will find the occasional one that is a whopping level 25. So, what they can’t catch now, they’ll have to come back for later when they’ve leveled up significantly.

The fairy-types in this area include Azurill, Igglybuff, Jigglypuff, Fidough, Happiny, and Tinkatink. This is the most active place in all of Paldea for fairy-types and should not be missed by the player if they want to catch all of them. While the main story will bring them along this way, they should make it a point to get here as soon as their level is high enough to contend with the Pokemon that are here. This will also give them the opportunity to get a hold of one of the newest generation 9 additions, Tinkatink. Once they have it, they’ll be able toevolve it into an even more powerful form.
