Sony has remained relatively tight-lipped on the PlayStation 5’s design thus far, so fans were pretty surprised when Sony revealed theDualSense, the PlayStation 5’s controller. The DualSense is a revamped version of the DualShock, with a more ergonomic design and a neat two-toned color scheme.

However, that design has been somewhat divisive, with some wishing for a simple, solid black design for the new controller.Custom DualSense designsfrom fans have filled in the gaps to some degree, offering mock-ups of special editions of the controller, from basic color swaps, to elaborateCyberpunk 2077themed ones. Now, a player has created another new design, this time inspired byDragon Ball Z,and the result is incredibly impressive.

The controller, created bySai Evermore,  features a bold orange and blue design inspired by Goku, and could easily pass as an official special edition, perhaps for the likes ofDragon Ball ZKakarot. The touchpad features young Goku in the center, with an orange glow coming from the controllers redesigned lightbar. It’s one of the most impressive designs created so far. Evermore has created others, but this is certainly the standout of the bunch.

Hopefully, Sony will be able to match some of the creative prowess demonstrated by the community since the controller’s reveal. Who knows, maybe there will even be some custom PS5 console designs to go along with the controllers, at least whenever Sony finally gets around to revealing what thePS5 looks like. For now, fans just have to rely on artist designs to try and imagine what it will look like when it’s all said and done.

It’s great to see fans create so many wonderful designs lately. Quarantine does have many people forced to stay at home, which may have something to do with the apparent uptick in creativity on the internet lately, but that may just mean people are trying to make the most out of an unfortunate situation. Either way, hopefully, talented creators will continue to produceamazing conceptslike this, and maybe even inspire some official designs down the road, though that remains to be seen.
