Nomad is an underrated character that does get the credit she deserves until the squad is in a pickle. These situations can be among the deadliest thatRainbow Six Extractionhas to offer and often result in a total loss of the team. This turns out differently, however, if Nomad is one of the operatives.

Nomad starts out bumping enemies back to keep herself safe but, after a few levels, she completely obliterates all except for the most elite and powerful foes. These tough units will still be bounced back by her ability, making her a strong choice inRainbow Six Extraction.
Primary Weapon - TCSG12
Although the TCSG12 boasts of being one ofthe best guns in the gamewith a rare shotgun suppressor, go ahead and remove the attachment. If the situation calls for silence, that will be handled by the secondary weapon. This gun just needs damage.

With that removed, Nomad gets a powerful gun with a large clip that has the stopping power to outright kill all but the worst units. Keep on firing and they won’t fall far behind their minions. Keep bouncing them back if they get too close and let the TCSG12 whittle them down.
Secondary Weapon - PRB92
Please ignore the fancy look and scope of the starting handgun (the .44 Mag Semi-Auto). It can’t be outfitted with a silencer and therefore must compete with primary weapons for damage. It doesn’t even come close to doing that, so simply put it aside.
Players would be wise to get somequick experience and levelswith Nomad for her better handgun, the PRB92. The weapon might not be statistically as strong, but it still delivers one-shot kills to weak spots from anywhere on the map.

Explosive Tech - Glue Grenade
Nomad’s ability will wipe out lesser units and bump back stronger ones, but she’s still susceptible to being attacked when she runs out of mines. To keep her fromextended healing periods after each mission, the Glue Grenade will slow down elite units that keep charging after getting bumped.

This will also help keep them at a perfect range for the TCSG12. They’re close enough to absorb the entire shotgun blast but not quite close enough to smack Nomad. The Glue Grenade isn’t great for every operator, but it is perfect for Nomad’s skillset.
Gear - Body Armor
In a perfect world, every player can perfectly launch Nomad’s mine right before getting hit and will never need to worry about mitigating damage. That world is not reality, though and the consequence of playing on the frontlines as Nomad does is that she’ll end up taking a few hits.
Body Armor reduces the amount of damage done by these hits. Additionally, instead of getting knocked out, the Body Armor will only make Nomad fall when she runs out of health and she’ll be available for rescue by the squad.

Rainbow Six Extractionwas released on January 20th, 2022, and is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
