There are some great missions inRed Dead Online, and these story-focused missions help to makeRed Dead Onlinea great experience for fans of the Western genre. The best story missions inRed Dead Onlinecan involve a multitude of factors, from moonshining, heisting, or bounty hunting.
If the player has an honorable morality bar inRed Dead Online, then they will be able to play the mission “Where Your Morals Lead You,” given by Horley and Tom Davies. This mission holsters the players' guns for something a little quieter, a fun experience for those that want to familiarise themselves with the stealth mechanics ofRed Dead Online.

The player and their posse will usethrowable melee weaponsand bows to take out their targets quietly. The mission involves stalking the woods of Tall Trees, and it can be quite fun communicating with a team to quietly kill people. However, the dependence on stealth may not be to everyone’s taste.
9Come Hell, Come High Water
As part of the Moonshiner story missions inRed Dead Online, “Come Hell, Come High Water” involves a large shootout on a boat. Players will be provided with snipers and other guns to take out revenue agents that want to halt the player’s moonshining business once and for all.
It’s rather fun to be on a boat, taking out hordes of enemies that are on trains, horses, and even other boats. It’s a game of territory, and the player has to rely on their skills with a gun to traverse the waters and reach Saint Denis. The only downside of this mission is that some players may find it boring to stand on a boat the whole time.

8The Certainty Of Death And Taxes
The final story mission for the Moonshiner set will have the player in a battle with Maggie Braithwaite’s rivals, and the Revenue Agents that continue to seek the end of the player’s ways. However, since this is the final mission, it’s time to put an end to the violence once and for all, through the only way the player knows: more violence.

What players might enjoy from “The Certainty of Death and Taxes” is the reward of knowing they have reached the end. Alternatively, it’s just a fun mission for the incessant murder that the player will commit. Shootouts inRed Dead Onlineare a lot of fun, especially when surrounded by an inferno of burning forests, which in itself deserves a salute tothe impressive graphicsofRed Dead Online.
7Love And Honor
Some of the earliest story missions inRed Dead Onlineinvolve the player making a morality-based decision that will make an impact on their honor meter. “Love and Honor” is a great mission that sees the player hired by a concerned husband and the Tumbleweed Sheriff to save his wife Allison after she was kidnapped by agang of outlawsat Twin Rocks.
After the player kills the outlaws at Twin Rocks, they will reach what is considered one of the best honor choices inRed Dead Online. The player and their posse must decide whether to kill the outlaw leader, Cliff, or help him escape with Allison, as it turns out she was not kidnapped, but fell in love and wants a new life. Helping is the honorable choice, and will see the lovers board a wagon, with the posse protecting them from gunmen.

6The Right Side Of The Tracks
Another great choice mission inRed Dead Onlineis “The Right Side of the Tracks,” which sees the player and their posse hired by Clinton Arnsdale to recover stolen property from Bob Crawfish.
After defeating the many men involved, players will then have to mount their horses and hogtie the fleeing assailants. From here, the players will bring the men to Riggs Station, where they are placed helplessly on train tracks. The decision is clear: set the thieves freefor an honorable rating, or let the train run them over for a negative honor rating.

5The Hanging Of Tom Davies
For the honorable set of missions, “The Hanging of Tom Davies” feels like something straight out of a Western movie. The player is tasked with rescuing Marshal Davies and Sheriff Freeman, who have been kidnapped by a gang.

The action starts the moment the players arrive, and the desert town is filled with outlaws. There’s not a lot of time to waste, as Tom Davies is swinging by the neck, making it rather urgent that players shoot the rope. The remainder of the mission has the players take on an army of outlaws as they protect the marshal and the sheriff.
4Kerosene, Tar, And Greed
The dishonorable missions inRed Dead Onlinemay not be the most morally right, but that doesn’t mean they are void of fun. In “Kerosene, Tar, and Greed,” the player will be introduced to Samson Finch, a seasoned outlaw who requires the help of the player for a few bad things. This time around, it involves a train.
In the dead of night, players will steal a train, and deliver it to the Oil Field. From here, they will open fire on the industrialists, taking out as many men as they can. This siege involves a great deal of murder and bullets and can be a lot of fun as a team. Despite being a dishonorable mission, players can experience character developmentand change to something more honorable.

3Banks Don’t Rob Themselves
For the true outlaws inRed Dead Online, “Banks Don’t Rob Themselves” is a great mission to get intothe lifestyle of a bad person. This mission is exclusive to those who are dishonorable, and for good reason, because the player and their posse will take their skills and their misdeeds straight to the bank, literally.
The player will rob the Lemoyne National Bank in Saint Denis and involves a lot of cash and law enforcement. Players will take out many officers of the law and will be forced to run through Saint Denis, gunning down anyone in their way so they can escape on a train.

2Bring A Goddamn Posse
There might be players that are not interested in stealing money from banks, and to those players, there’s something more honorable, and filled with righteous justice and protective servitude. The mission “Bring a Goddamn Posse” has Marshal Davies requesting the players’ help in defending Valentine from a notorious gang of outlaws.
This strategic mission sees players set up defenses around Valentine, in preparation for a violent siege. The players are tasked with protecting the innocent town of Valentine, and although difficult, it’sa great missionfor the honor-bound members ofRed Dead Online.

1Kill Them, Each And Every One
When the player begins their journey intoRed Dead Online, they will be indebted to Mrs. LeClerk for freeing them. Now, it’s time to repay that debt in “Kill Them, Each and Every One.” The man who murdered Mrs. LeClerk’s husband is held up in Fort Mercer with his gang, and it’s up to the player and their posse to kill them all.
To counteract the fact that this is a literal fort, each player is given metal plating as armor, including fun-looking bucket hats. This armor is extremely strong, and there’s even a boss fight involving Teddy Brown wearing his armor with explosive rounds. It’s a fun finale toRed Dead Online.

Red Dead Onlineis currently available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
