Having played Claire Redfield already in theResident Evil 2remake, Claire’s voice actress Stephanie Panisello recently streamed gameplay ofResident Evil 2in which she played as her voiced character. During the stream, discussion took place of a tentativeResident Evil - Code: Veronicaremake, which Panisello commented on.

“That’d be awesome,” Panisello said. “I hope they do the remake ofCode: Veronica. That would be legit. I would love to do it. So, we shall see.”

AResident Evil - Code: Veronicaremake doesn’t seem all too likely in the near future. At the forefront ofResident Evilcontent right now isProject Resistance, which is theLeft 4 Dead-like asymmetric multiplayerREtitle yet to receive a release date. Furthermore, aResident Evil 3remakehas been rumored nearly sinceResident Evil 2 Remake’s release and reported success.

As such, while Panisello’s enthusiasm is likely to be much-appreciated byResident Evilfans, very little so far has indicated the existence of aResident Evil - Code: Veronicaremake. It isn’t that a remake of it isn’t likely, asREfans may start to get more remakes givenResident Evil 2’s standing as one of2019’s best horror games. For now, though,Resident Evilfans can look forward toProject Resistanceas Capcom’s next bigResident Eviltitle.
