In Chapter 2 of theResident Evil 4remake, players will have to make their way through the Abandoned Factory location. Once players are done with this place and head east towards the Merchant, gamers can pick up aPest Control Requestnote just to the right of the salesman. The note asks players to get rid of three rats that have taken residence in the factory. The person that sent the request seems to be worried about some sort of outbreak. Once the request is done, players canspeak to the Merchantto getthree Spinels.

Rats in the Abandoned Factory in Resident Evil 4 Remake
Down below is a map of theResident Evil 4remake’sAbandoned Factory, and those three red stars are the three locations of the rats. The rats will die from a single bullet, and players can try to stab them, too, if they wish to save some handgun ammo. Follow the yellow path starting from the Merchant area to find all three rats with ease.

After the rats are dealt with, retrace your steps back to the Merchant to get some Spinels. The Spinels can be traded to the Merchant to unlock some items, such as the Laser Sight attachment, a Yellow Diamond, treasure maps, herbs, and more.
By finding more Merchant locations aroundResident Evil 4’smostly linear world, players will uncover even more blue note Requests. Completing these will help players get ahead of the game, whether getting a more powerful gun or a fancy gem that can be placed into treasure to increase its worth.
