While Capcom still has yet to confirm the exact date when the secondResident Evil Villagedemo will be available, a recent leak suggests that fans may be able to play it sooner rather than later. In fact, it’s possible thatResident Evil Villagefans will get to play the demo as early as next week.

This demo information popping up on the PlayStation Store is a pretty good indication that it will be available to the masses soon, but we may be able to pinpoint the exact day. Capcom has announced thatAprilResident Evilshowcasewill take place on Thursday, April 15. As some may recall, theResident EvilMaiden demo released on the same day as the previousResident Evilshowcase, so odds are high that the next demo will launch on the same day as the next showcase. And if not, it’s highly likely that the showcase will include a release date for the new demo.
The newResident Evil Villagedemo will differ from thePS5 exclusive Maiden demoin a number of ways. The new demo is expected to include gameplay from the final version of the game, whereas the Maiden demo was a completely separate work and designed to be a visual showcase, not to show offResident Evil Village’s gameplay features. Not only that, but the newResident Evil Villagedemo is expected to come to multiple platforms, not just PlayStation 5.
Specific platforms have not been confirmed at the time of this writing, but it seems likely that the newResident Evil Villagegameplay demo will be hitting PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms at the very least. There’s also aStadia version ofResident Evil Villageon the way as well, so it’s possible that users of Google’s game streaming platform may be able to get in on the demo action as well.
