As seen in the video, Erin Eberhardt has confirmed that Insomniac Games is working on an unannounced AAA game. As bothMarvel’s Spider-Man 2andMarvel’s Wolverinehave been officially revealed, it appears that Insomniac Games is working on a third title alongside the other two titles. Erin is working as a Project Director on this unannounced title, but the video doesn’t share any further details on the game. Fans should note that things can change at any time during the development process, so they should wait for Sony to officially reveal this title.

It’s highly likely thatInsomniac Gamesis working on multiple projects at the same time. Many developers are probably working on more than 1 title at a time, as it’s likely for the next game to be in pre-production while a majority of the team works on the one currently in production. As of now, there is no information on this game’s production status, so players may have to wait for years for it to come out.

Regardless of when it releases, this new game will likely be a PS5 exclusive, unless it ends up being a multiplayer focused live-service title as Sony previously revealed plans to release live-service games on both PS5 and PC at launch, allowing the game to reach a much wider audience. Fans have already seen this policy in action, asHelldivers 2,Fairgames,andConcordare also coming to PC on day one, withMarathonby Bungiecoming to Xbox as well.

A job posting from 2022 revealed thatInsomniac Games is hiring for a multiplayer project, which could be referring to the game in question. However, it could also be a new release in theRatchet & Clankseries, or a completely new IP from Insomniac Games.
