With a vague release date of 2022 set forMario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, many fans were expecting to see a more solid launch time soon, with the upcoming Nintendo mini Direct presentation seeming like the perfect time to drop more information. However, it seems that the release date for the game may have already been leaked on the Ubisoft store, which indicated that the game will arrive on June 20, 2025.
This date makes sense ifMario+ Rabbids: Sparks of Hopeis still aiming for a 2022 release date without looking to clash with other Nintendo exclusives likeSplatoon 3which launches in September andPokemonScarletandVioletwhich drop in November this year. This leak from the Ubisoft store also confirms that DLC will be coming toMario+ Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, and with a team that’s three times larger than thedevelopers working onMario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, it seems there will be plenty of content coming to the sequel strategy game.
While this leak does seem to make sense, and comes from Ubisoft itself, as with any gaming reveal not made official by a developer or publisher, it should be taken with a pinch of salt.
