Co-op platformerSackboy: A Big Adventurelets players customize their Sackboys using a huge variety of costumes. The base game already had plenty of costumes forSackboy: A Big Adventureplayers to try on, but developer Sumo Digital has supported the game post-launch with even more new outfits. This has often consisted of costumes based on PlayStation franchises to help promote new games, as is the case with the latestSackboy: A Big Adventurefree DLC costumes.
Starting February 18,Sackboy: A Big Adventureplayers can jump onto the PlayStation Store and claim a new pair of costumes based on the upcomingHorizon Forbidden West. This includes a costume based onHorizon Forbidden Westprotagonist Aloy, and another one based on themysterious Sylens. These newSackboyDLC costumes are available to players completely free of charge across both the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game.

This is far from the first time thatSackboy: A Big Adventurehas added free costumes for fans to claim. Most recently,Sackboygave away Christmas-themed skins, and before that, it gave away a pair of skins based onThe Last of Us 2. The special edition of the game also included costumes based on various PlayStation franchises as well.
While new costumes will no doubt be appreciated by theSackboycommunity, some fans may be anxious for the game to get more substantial content. Unfortunately, there are no plans to release any expansions or any new levels for the game - at least none that have been shared publicly.Sackboy: A Big Adventurewas a PS5 launch titleand is going to be turning two years old at the end of 2022, so it’s unlikely that it will be getting any significant support this late into its life.
What fans may be more likely to see is a sequel or some other kind of game set in theLittleBigPlanetuniverse, though nothing has been announced at the time of this writing. One would think that Sony would want to make aproperLittleBigPlanetgamethat takes advantage of the PlayStation 5’s added horsepower, but it’s also possible that the series has been put on ice. After all, there was a six year gap between the release ofLittleBigPlanet 3andSackboy: A Big Adventure, so fans may have to wait quite a while to play a new game in the series.
