When it comes toSkyrim, the beloved game has one asset that truly winds players up, and that’s the NPC Nazeem, the Redguard farmer from Whiterun who often talks down to the Dragonborn in a very condescending tone.Nazeem is often the subject of hatred inSkyrim, with players often wishing death upon him and his patronizing dialogue. However, one person is taking this a step further, and has decided to off the character every day, partly in protest at there being no word from Bethesda about the whereabouts of the next game.

In a series of YouTube videos, user Sidek has so far posted 131 clips of them attacking Nazeem, starting last September, with each one bearing the title “Killing Nazeem Every Day Until Elder Scrolls 6 is Released” followed by that video’s numbered entry. It seems theSkyrimfan has had enough of the character, whose snooty lines can induce rage in players.

At the time of writing, Sidek has yet to upload yesterday’s clip, but it’s possible that it will be coming soon. Given the amount of videos they’ve posted so far, this is oneseriously dedicatedSkyrimfanwho is evidently getting impatient waiting for the next game. With zero official announcements about its release, or even that it’s being worked on, there could be many hundreds more videos to come.

It’s entirely possible that theElder Scrolls 6is still in pre-production, which, if true, will likely mean that the game may not be coming out for years at this point. There’s just no telling, but seeing asSkyrimis now more than a decade old, it’s fair to say that many are starting to get a little impatient.

Of course,Bethesda is busy working on the upcomingStarfield, which is due out this November and represents the studio’s first new IP for 25 years, so the company likely has other priorities right now. Having said that, there’s always the hope that some news will come forth once this game has been released, but that does mean waiting until the end of 2022. In any case, the developer will have to mention it at some point, but in the meantime, it looks like Nazeem is going to keep facing his doom over and over again.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim - Anniversary Editionis out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
