It’s been less than three months sinceMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredmade its way to PC, and the game’s sprawling modding scene has already enabled a wide variety of impressive stills created using its powerful Photo Mode. The latest in the long list of such visuals surfaced online just recently in the form of a recreation of an iconic panel from theUltimate Spider-Man Volume 10.
Marvel’s Spider-Mandebuted as a PS4 exclusive in 2018 before getting remastered for the PS5 two years later. This August,Marvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredwas also ported to PC, which opened the floodgates for a huge array of community mods centered around the web-crawling superhero. But even without the power of mods, fans have already demonstrated the capabilities of the game’s elaborate Photo Mode with countless recreations of comic book covers and miscellaneous visuals such asThor: Love and Thunder-style posters.

Reddit user TheVigilanteSpider has now shared a rather faithful recreation of an iconic panel from the tenth volume of theUltimate Spider-Man; the one in which Wilson Fisk—also known as the Kingpin—towers over Peter Parker’s Spider-Man in a fit of rage. The Photo Mode visual was created using the PC version ofMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredand the Ultimate Suit mod. Since the 2001 comic book depicts the Kingpin as the size of the Hulk, this recreation isn’t entirely accurate, but it’s as close as the normal-sized in-game model of Fisk allows it to be. The screenshot was seemingly taken during the Fisk boss fight which takes place in the early stages ofMarvel’s Spider-Manand essentially acts as an advanced combat tutorial.
While Fisk only plays a small role inMarvel’s Spider-Man, his presence can still be felt throughout the game, as well as its 2020 sequel,Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Namely, players perpetually fight against the remnants of his criminal empire throughout both games, long after the Kingpin is sent to prison. The actor who depicted the iconic villain recently went on record to state that he is hoping toreprise the Kingpin role inMarvel’sSpider-Man 2, though it’s still unclear whether Insomniac Games intends to grant him that wish.
SinceMarvel’s Spider-Man: Miles MoralesPC version release dateis just a few days away, the influx of community-created stills featuring the popular wall-crawler isn’t likely to slow down anytime soon. As forMarvel’s Spider-Man 2, that game is still scheduled to release next year, but will remain a PS5 exclusive for some time.
Marvel’s Spider-Manis available now on PC, PS4, and PS5.
