Star Wars: Squadrons, which was finally revealed today, sets itself apart from EA’s other titles using theStar Warslicense as a smaller, budget title, priced only at $40. Despite this, and unlike 2016’sStar Wars: Battlefront, the first-person flight combat title will feature a single-player campaign. Following the trend of recent single-player campaigns from EA’sStar Warstitle, this story will likely also be part of Disney’s officialStar Warscanon timeline.

The game is positioning itselfbetween the events ofReturn of the JediandThe Force Awakensof theStar Warstimeline, a part of theStar Warschronology left largely unexplored following Disney’s rebooting of the canon timeline in 2012.
