The diorama depicts the Blacksmith’s Shop. The six images were posted on theStardew Valleysubreddit by a Redditor going by the username kawawunga. In the post, kawawunga mentions that this is their eighth diorama based onbuildings fromStardew Valley. As anyone familiar with the game could attest, the diorama boasts a level of accuracy to that of the in-game Clint’s Blacksmith shop that is nothing short of impressive.

The diorama consists of a very good representation of the stone brick building itself, complete with windows and signage. There is also a lawn and a fence (which looks as though it may have been made with popsicle sticks) around the back with a sign that reads “Life is better with Joja.” Another sign reads, “Shop Local. Shop Pierre’s!” On one side of the building is the blacksmith’s furnace which connects to the chimney. Other objects are scattered about including barrels, crates, and a trashcan made from a toothpaste cap—the can even has an “aquamarine” hiding in it.

The creator says in the image captions that the diorama is made with cardboard, XPS foam, airdry clay, coffee stirrer sticks, and other materials. In the comments section, kawawunga adds that they refined their building process after his first few diorama builds turned out “rough,” to use his own word. They say that the project took them around 10–15 hours working off and on for about a month. That’s the kind ofdedicationStardew Valleytends to bring out of its fans.
