Stardew Valleyfeatures a variety of unique areas waiting to be explored as players progress through the game. Among these captivating places is the Calico Desert, situated in the far northwest of Pelican Town. It is home to Sandy, who runs the Oasis, the Desert Trader, and the mysterious Mr. Qi. The Desert contains new treasures, including unique fruit, exotic fish, and the perilous underground labyrinth known as The Skull Cavern.
However,to access the DesertinStardew Valley, players need to repair the Bus at Pelican Town’s Bus Stop. The Bus Stop is where players first arrive when they move toStardew Valley. Unfortunately, the service breaks down soon after their arrival.

How to Fix the Bus in Stardew Valley
There are two ways players can repair the Bus inStardew Valley.
The Community Center
Players who opt torestore Pelican Town’s Community Centerto its former glory must be familiar with Junimos. These forest spirits residing inside the Community Center offer players a reward when they complete Bundles. Once players complete four Bundles (any type), they get access to the Vault.
The Vault contains four bundles which players canpurchase for a hefty42,000 gold. Completing all the Vault bundles repairs the Bus Stop and allows players to ride the Bus to the Calico Desert.
The Joja Corporation
Players who decide to pick the Joja route need to pay 5,000 gold to Morrisfor a JojaMart Membership. It enables players to have access to the Joja Community Development Form inStardew Valley. The form contains a list of development projects that the Joja Corporation intends to construct in Pelican Town. The Bus Stop restoration project costs40,000 gold.
It’s completely up to the players whichever route they choose. However, it may seem more rewarding to complete the Community Center bundles, as players will receive additional rewards, including aCrystalarium, aLightning Rod, 3Chocolate Cakes, and 30Quality Fertilizers.
Once the bus is successfully repaired, Pam, an NPC, becomes the Bus Driver. The Bus service is available for passengers from 10 AM to 5 PM daily. To board the bus players need to purchase a ticket which costs 500 g. Purchasing a ticket at the machine triggers the bus to start traveling to the Calico Desert.
