Stardew Valleywas developed by one man, Eric Barone, and the game has since grown exponentially through itsimpressive sale numbersand ever-growing player base. The game is quite familiar in the modding community, with many fans creating some excellent mods that either add quality-of-life updates or change up the game by expanding the map.

This time around, a modder has introduced something entirely unexpected forStardew Valley, and some could say it improves the style of the game. As of now, players can now meet The Mandalorian and the adorable child, Grogu. Furthermore, the mod adds two new locations and various other exciting additions.

The Mandalorian and Grogu serve as NPCs that players can interact with and get married to in an event that the modder describes as “a li’l spicy.” After tying the knot, players can choose the option to “go to bed event” once entering the Farm House after 9 PM but players can choose to pass up on theexcitementbehind the curious “bed event” to tend to their crops if that’s what pleases them. Themodding community forStardew Valleyhasn’t done anything quite like this in the game, despite many mods available for players.

The mod also adds two new locations: a spouse room, and the other isthe Razer Crest, located at the bus stop. It’s worth noting that the spouse room is empty so that players can choose whatever furniture they’d like. Additionally, marrying Mandalorian also means that Grogu would become more independent as the child wanders around the farm and would be replaced by either a cat or dog. Though, Grogu will still go out with Mando on Tuesdays and Fridays for their adventures.

It’s also said that the mod adds Mando items as a surprise, but one would have to find out by downloading the mod. This is an ambitious mod that brings the exciting concept of having mainstream crossovers betweenStardew Valleyand pop culture media. For example,Fortnitehas added crossoversand fun events that increased the game’s popularity in the general public. It could work just the same forStardew Valley, but that’s something Eric Barone won’t be able to commit to since he has stated previously that he’s working on other projects now. Still, it could be something for the modding community to keep an eye on as this would grab the attention of those that still cherish and playStardew Valley.

Stardew Valleyis out now for Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
