It’s still not clear whenStarfieldwill be coming out, but for those who want a one-stop place to read the game’s details, someone has shared an extensive 400-page document they’ve written that’s been inspired by Bethesda’s new IP. The upcoming release is one of themost anticipated RPGs of 2023, if not the most anticipated game overall. Given the unbelievable success of theElder ScrollsandFalloutfranchises, it will be interesting to see what the studio’s take on a more sci-fi setting can achieve.

However, there’s still no confirmation about when fans will actually get to play it. All will hopefully be revealed at theimpendingStarfieldshowcase, but even that doesn’t have a finalized date yet. When it does air, Bethesda will almost certainly be revealing more gameplay footage and possibly the release date, but all fans can do at this stage is wait until the event goes live. In the meantime, there is one other way to keep busy before the game comes out.

A user called Gakamo has been busy putting together a huge compendium, consisting of as much information aboutStarfieldas possible. Totaling a whopping 409 pages on Google Docs, this publicly available document is sizable enough to be a novel. In these pages, readers will find such details as why they went to all this trouble, citing their love of Bethesda games, concept art and screenshots, a breakdown of interviews between key people at the studio, as well as links to trailers. Gakamo says they hope to add even more before the game is released.

It’s interesting to note that the fan even put in the original release date for the game before crossing it out, evidently intended as a joke about the delay. It’s unfortunate thatStarfieldhad its release date pushed back, with the game initially scheduled to launch in November 2022, but it has given Gakamo time to put this online dossier together, and it is a substantial read for anyone who’s looking forward to the RPG.

As well asStarfieldbeing hotly anticipated, fans are also holding out for more info on the long-awaited next entry in Bethesda’s other major franchise. However, itcould be a very long time beforeThe Elder Scrolls 6comes out, but at least there’s the developer’s new sci-fi title to look forward to, whenever that finally sees the light of day. Before then, it will be intriguing to see how much more Gakamo will add to the document.
