Players who want tohelp out the Deimos miners of CydoniainStarfieldmust jump through a lot of hoops. And even when everything seems like it’s about to go smoothly, a new wrinkle appears that gets in the way. To deal with this wrinkle, players must complete the mission “Red Tape Reclamation.”
This quest is the third and final part of the Red Tape mission line, and it begins the moment the second mission, “Red Tape Runaround,” ends. Like before,Starfieldplayers should head back down to Trevor Petyarre after approving the new equipment request on Petter Brennan’s computer.

How to Track Down the Missing Worker
By the time players return to Trevor, he’s already placed an order for new mining equipment and sent out a worker to collect it. The worker, Hank Ferraro, volunteered for the job, but for some reason, he hasn’t returned. Trevor needs to know what happened, so he tells players to go speak tothe Ship Services Technicianwho spoke with him last.
Talk to the Technician to learn that Hank returned, but he landed his ship a ways off from the landing pads and is probablyin the Broken Spear bar. Sure enough, players can find him at the right end of the bar and can ask him about the equipment. He admits that he’s keeping it from Trevor, but he’ll give up and lead players to his ship the moment they apply any pressure.

What Should You Do with Hank?
After a long, slow walk across the surface of Mars, Hank will stop in front of his ship. Players should quick save at this point because when they speak to Hank again he’ll pull out a gun.Starfieldplayers can Persuade himto put the weapon away, or they can attack him. If the Persuasion fails, he’ll attack anyway. However, Hank is a level one character who dies to almost any attack.
If Hank survives the confrontation, players can decide to either let him off or tell him to give himself in for theft. Before making either choice, be sure to ask Hank for his weapon. It’s nothing special, but it’s a free weapon.
If players let Hank off, they should head back to Trevor straight away. If they don’t, they’ll need to bring Hank to Sergeant Booth. Booth is in the security station in Cydonia, which is behind a doorway to the left of the plastic curtains by the entrance. Hank is a follower during the return trip to Cydonia, so players can go at full speed, but ensure he’s nearby before entering the city.
After dealing with Hank, players can return to Trevor to complete the Red Tape missions. The reward for completing the whole set is another 100 XP,another large credit reward, a full set of Deimos gear (complete with cap), and 50 units of iron.
