Lava Rock Lair is the title of the World 4-Castle stage inSuper Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Furyfor the Nintendo Switch. It’s the final stage of this section of the world map, and although its format is slightly different from normal levels, there are still three Green Stars and a neat Stamp to collect. It’s not necessary to collect any of these items, but for those that are seeking to 100% the game, they are a must. But, if players want to just breeze through the campaign, it’s still possible to see the creditsand eventually unlock Rosalina, the game’s fifth playable character.
Players can use this guide to find the location of all of the Green Stars and the Stamp in World 4-Castle ofSuper Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury.

Super Mario 3D World: World 4-Castle Green Star #1
The location of the first Green Star in this level is towards the beginning of it. Once players pass the initial section, they’ll spot two switches on the ground. Have two players stand on them, or throw one of the rock enemies on it, and theGreen Star will appear on a suggestive-looking bridge.

After players go through a long tube through the lava, they will spot a purple-colored cube on a ledge. Jump inside of it to betransported to a challenge room. There will be a timer and before it runs out, players need to activate all three switches by tossing the rocks on them and then using their own body to press the third one. Or, if there are multiple people playing, they can easily just walk on the switches without needing the rock enemies.
Super Mario 3D World: World 4-Castle Stamp
Right before walking across a long bridge with the third Green Star, use the Cat power-up to climb the wall on the left side. If players keep going up, they’ll eventually find the Stamp for this stage. To get a Super Bell item in this stage, it can be obtained by collecting the red coins earlier in the level or it can betaken from a stack of Goomba’s on the bridgenear the Stamp location.
Super Mario 3D World: World 4-Castle Green Star #3
The final Green Star is sitting right on the same bridge that is ahead of the location of the Stamp. It’ll be floating on the left side of the bridge and can be grabbed by throwing an enemy at it.
