In addition to its lengthy main story campaign, theBeyond the Dawnexpansion providesTales of Ariseplayers with 40 brand-new sub-quests. Sadly, much likethe ones found in the base version of the game, most of these end up being glorified fetch quests, with players simply needing to go to a spot marked on their map and then either kill some zeugles or talk with some people before they can turn the quest in. Others require players to acquire certain items, which can sometimes prove to be a little trickier.
Thankfully, many ofthe game’s weapon crafting componentscan now be purchased from merchants, making life much easier for players. They will need to get hold of some meat though, which will likely mean raising some Rappigs, Horses, and Pigs at the ranch, so it’s a good idea to get started on this early. Information on how to acquire some of the non-purchasable components has been provided where appropriate, but for the most part, players should have very little trouble completing all 40Beyond the Dawnsub-quests and unlocking the Unparalleled Problem Solver achievement.
The following list ofBeyond the Dawnsub-quests is presented in the same order that they are listed in the Activity Records menu. It’s worth noting that some sub-quests will only become available once others have been completed, while others are tied to main story progress. The final sub-quest, The Temperature of Touch, can only be tackled once players have finished with the other 39.

Earth Stones can be acquired from the Ominous Earthen Mass enemy, which can be found in the Control Compartment area of the first Mausoleum. In order for the enemy to drop an Earth Stone, players will need to initiate a core break, which can be done by using Rinwell’s Boost Attack.

Armored Sturgeon, Aurum Arrowana Cobalt Trout, Cygni Piracrucu, Golden Catfish, and Silver Marlin are all classed as Boss Fish. Their locations can be foundhere. Alternatively, players can purchase a Boss Fish from the Owl King for 15,000 Gald. To do so, they’ll need to visit the Owl Forest by interacting with the owl in the Nevira Snowplains area of Cyslodia.
