In an article byEntertainment Weekly, Stark revealed he was initially unsure whether he would be back forThat ’90s Show. When he was contacted about coming back, however, he was immediately certain that it was something he wanted to do. “As soon as the clothes came on, and the wig came on, and the sideburns, and the jewelry, everything just kind of snapped. It was great. It was seamless,” Stark said. “There was nothing to do, my Bob accent was right there at the ready, and it was fantastic. Bob is still that same guy: He means well, and he’s got a big heart, but doesn’t always think things through completely or at all.”

Stark also praised the production design for the series, saying that the sets were built to look exactly as they did onThat ’70s Show, and they perfectly emulated them down to every last detail. He also praisedthe cast ofThat ’90s Show, saying it felt very similar to when the younger actors were starting onThat ’70s Show.Stark revealed he’ll be back in episode 6 of the series, which will see Leia celebrating her birthday. He and Red will be competing to outdo the other in the eyes of their granddaughter. Stark said he doesn’t know whether he’ll be back after that, but he hopes he’ll have a bigger role moving forward.

As Jackie (played by Mila Kunis) once said, Bob is “cheesy and corny like nachos.” The character seems to retain that cheesiness and corniness; he frequently embarrassed his daughter Donna onThat ’70s Show. Here, he’ll be going over the top for Leia.

Hopefully, there’s room for Stark to appear in future seasons ofThat ’90s Show. He’s not the only actor to confirm his return - pretty much all of the original gang is returning for the sequel.Tommy Chong also revealed he is reprising hisThat ’70s Showrolein the sequel.

That ’90s Showwill be released on Netflix on July 08, 2025.
