While there typically is not much to look at when considering that he is supposed to be just a slime. However, Rimuru has become more than just a slime through the series. Evolving to become a True Demon Lord in an intense situation to save his people, Rimuru’s capabilities have more than multiplied, and with it came all new powerful abilities. In this regard, these are some of the most powerful abilities of the Tempest Federation’s monarch.
15Multidimensional Barrier
Ability Type: Extra Skill
The Multidimensional Barrier is a skill obtainable only by those who have achieved an ultimate skill like Rimuru. The skill, however, boasts more defensive capabilities rather than offensive. The multidimensional barrier can be used to obtain an absolute defense when combined with an active Multilayer Barrier and Dimension Fault. The absolute defense makes it foolproof against any attack, regardless of its nature.
The Barrier’s efficiency could surpass Uriel’s Absolute Guard. A rather interesting feature of the Barrier is that its durability is directly dependent on the combat intelligence of its user. The implication is that it will remain foolproof as long as its user can analyze the nature of the incoming attack while simultaneously adjusting the barrier level.
14Imaginary Collapse
Ability Type: Ultimate Skill
The Imaginary Collapse, also known as the Nothingness Collapse, is an ultimate skill used by Rimuru and was only previously used by the ancient Veldanava, the first True Dragon and father to Demon Lord Milim Nava. Imaginary Collapse allows its user to produce and constantly exploit the ultimate destructive energy through magic.
This energy is powerful enough even to cause damage to its user and, if used correctly, is capable of causing endless destruction. The skill can also evolve into Imaginary Supply, which allows Rimuru, through Ciel’s help, to share Imaginary Collapse with the strongest of his subordinates.
13Space-Time Domination
Space-time domination is a skill that’s not specific to Rimuru alone,but Diablo and Zegionare also capable of using it. The Space-Time Domination skill allows its user complete control of the elements of Space and Time.
It allows its user to bend both elements to their will, also allowing them to perform Instant motion and Space-Time connection rather quickly. The implication of this is that the user can achieve movement akin to instant teleportation if they so wish, among other subsets of skills like the Time Warp, Dimension Fault, and Time Stop.
12Dragon Spirit Haki
Ability Type: Intrinsic Skill
The Dragon Spirit Haki is an intrinsic skillavailable to True Dragons, which is what Rimuru is. The skill allows him to imbue his dragon aura with magical properties, letting him exert spiritual pressure on his opponents and causing them actual physical damage unless they can defend against it.
When used to its full capacity, the user’s aura can destroy everything it comes into contact with. However, other dragons have an immunity to the skill as they can also use it themselves. The only known way to defend against this skill when the opponent is not a dragon is through sheer force of will.
11Shub-Niggurath, Lord of Abundance
Made from the Essence of Uriel, remaining after the skill was given to Velrynd, Shub-Niggurath is another ofRimuru’s ultimate skills. Shub-Niggurath is divided into other subskills, such as the Skill Creation, which allows Rimuru to create new skills based on the data available to him.
There’s also Skill Duplication, which enables Rimuru to recreate skills on which he has a complete analysis. Another subskill is Skill Gifting, which allows him to grant skills to a designated target, depending on the target’s compatibility. The final subskill of this skill is skill storage, which enables Rimuru to store the data of all the skills he can analyze to be recreated later.
10Universal Detect
Ability Type: Intrinsic / Extra Skill
In a world where constant battles are fought, heightened senses are required since they can help turn the tides of battles and determine the enemy’s location early enough to make a counterattack. Rimuru’s perceptive ability is a great addition to match his alreadyoverpowered set of battle skills.
Rimuru’s perceptive ability isUniversal Detect. This magical skill allows Rimuru to have not only heightened vision and battle senses but also ultra-sensitive magical perception. At different points in the series, Rimuru could perceive approaching enemies even at a far distance.

Even in anime, it is rare to discover characterswith teleportation abilities. Regardless, Rimuru possessesTeleportation Magic, not just the regular kind, but an extremely powerful one capable of moving thousands of individuals. This skill was revealed in Season Two of the anime.
During Rimuru’s clash with the Demon Lord Clayman, he needed to mobilize his army to go against Clayman’s. As a last resort, Rimuru moved thousands of fighters to the Animal Kingdom using a powerfulTeleportationspell. This ability is powerful because it can ambush Kingdoms and wipe out countries using a well-coordinated battle strategy.

Telepathyis more than an added advantage in a world where there are no mobile phones or advanced communication devices; it is an extremely powerful skill depending on how it is used. The ability doesn’t look so great at first, but on a closer look at how Rimuru uses it to contact his allies, the worth is priceless.
For instance, during large-scale battles or a war consisting of a series of different battles occurring simultaneously, Intel is important; it can change the tide of battle. Rimuru possesses a set of annulation abilities, allowing him to cancel natural elements. One of its features is the ability to cancelphysical attacks. Rimuru has high resistance to physical attacks; however, the true potential of this skill is utilized withAbsolute Defense, which exponentially increases Rimuru’s invulnerability.

During Rimuru’s clash with the Kingdom of Falmuth, he usedGod’s Wrath (Megiddo),allowing fans to witness a wide-range ability that is useful for large-scale combat.
Within a few moments, God’s Wrath eliminated Falmuth’s large army. The ability is in the form of water droplets boosted by Rimuru’s water spirit energy. These water droplets can differ in size and speed, obliterating any resistance they encounter. This ability requires low magical energy, making it frightening because it can be used multiple times without affecting Rimuru.
