World of Warcrafthas always been one of the best games for completionism. As it is an older game released in 2004 that is still being played and receiving updates, there is a vast array of content to indulge in, with a lot of items to obtain.
While mounts might be the most popular completionist items to collect, transmogs have always been a close second. A core element of MMOs, and RPGs, is character progression, and making the player look good will always be a popular choice. However, with WoW and its numerous classes, there are a lot of transmogs to go for. Some, like warriors, have been in the game since release, yet others, like monks, are newer classes, but nonetheless still have transmogs worth grinding for.

8Vestments of Enveloped Dissonance
Obtained Via Raiding
As monks wear leather armor and are more mobile and agile than other classes, they don’t tend to wear heavier-looking armor. The Vestments of Enveloped Dissonance is a set that looks like actual armor instead of leather, making sense for anyBrewmaster tanks.
As is the case with later expansions ofWoW, the set’s colors change depending on the difficulty, either being yellow, gray, green, or red and blue. The green set dropped from Heroic can make a player look like they are going for a fel-corrupted monk, while the Mythic colors align with more traditional colors found in Pandaria.

7Vestments Of The Red Crane
Since monks were introduced inMists of Pandaria, and the class is connected to the continent, sets from the expansion have defined looks fitting them. The Vestments of the Red Crane is one such set, adhering to Pandaria’s inspiration from Chinese mythology, fitting with a martial arts class.
However, despite its name, the Heroic version is only red. The Raid Finder variant is blue, which could fit withsome titan-themedtransmogs, and the Normal version is an orange-colored set.

6Wrappings of the Waking Fist
Most of the time, monks inWoWare categorized by a light green color to represent how they wield the element of spirit. Green isn’t the only available color in the set, there are also yellow, light blue, and white versions.
The set can work with all the specs of monks. The green armor is thematic enough tofit with Mistweaver, it appears agile and threatening to conform to Windwalker monks, and it is heavier armor instead of leather armor to work well with any Brewmasters.

5Fire-Charm Vestments
As DPS classes are the most popular inWoW, the Fire-Charm Vestments would fit anyone who wishes to play damage-dealing leather class. Obviously, the set fitsWindwalker Monkthe most due to it being the DPS monk spec.
The transmog fits monks very well, appearing like a master martial artist able to punch through anything. Acquiring the set can also be poetic as a monk, especially when playing pandaren, due to the armor dropping from the Throne of Thunder and the resurrected Lei Shen, who enslaved the people of Pandaria in the past.

4Chi-Ji’s Battlegear
Most transmogs inWoWfollow the same general rules. However, there are occasionally some sets that have unique parts on them, such as Chi-Ji’s Battlegear, where there is no armor on the shoulders. Instead, floating balls have replaced the shoulders and follow throughout the set.
As was the case withLegion’sfocus on class identity, the set fits what the player as theOrder HallGrandmaster would wear, especially the Mythic version. It fits the aesthetic and fantasy of the class, while still being intricately designed and prominent, as it would be for someone of a Grandmaster’s standing.

3Grievous Gladiator’s Ironskin Armor
Obtained Via PvP
In the lore ofWoW, monks are inherently linked to Pandaria due to it being the place where the class was birthed. The Grievous Gladiator’s Ironskin Armor set reflects this heritage, as there arecloud serpentspecial effects on the shoulders, with the armor’s appearance resembling the stone structures of the mogu found throughout the continent.
Although, the set does come from rewards earned by playing PvP. Player-vs-player content isn’t the most popular with some, so this set could also help those who have it to stand out.

2Xuen’s Battlegear
AsWoWis a high-fantasy world, there are various gods and powerful entities, both in the lore and/or in the game. The beings the monks follow are known as the August Celestials, with Xuen being the most powerful.
Clearly fitting for anyWindwalker Monks, there are different variations for the multiple difficulties available. Interestingly, Raid Finder has arguably the best-looking version of the set, primarily with a golden color, with purple inlaid balls and tints throughout.

1Battlegear of the Somber Gaze
DespiteWarlords of Draenornot having as much to do with monks compared to the previous expansion ofMists of Pandaria, it gave one of the most eye-catching transmogs in the game. The Mythic variant carries the signature glowing green color monks have become associated with and changes how the set looks fundamentally, not just the colors.
The versions available on the other difficulties are still worth getting, with every set looking like something that would be forged for an Iron Horde monk. The raid also dropsa mount, so achieving this set can be a bonus.
