The Elder Scrolls Onlinehas been going strong since its release in 2014. It’sone of the best MMORPGsout in the market. There’s plenty of quests, dungeons, and trials for players more interested in the PvE aspects of the game. Players who are more interested in PvP have almost the entire Cyrodiil province and Battlegrounds.

With so many different things being offered to players, some have experienced some hilarious or frustrating moments in the game. Some of these moments are common enough that they’re jokes within the ESO community.
10The City Guards Are Invincible
The city guards ofThe Elder Scrollsseries are known for their witty dialogue and arresting players for the silliest crimes. But if the crime is severe enough, expect to fight almost all of the city guards to escape. InOblivionandSkyrim,it is pretty easy to escape from them, but it’s a different story with the guards inThe Elder Scrolls Online.
The guards can’t die and will chase the players pretty far. If that doesn’t sound bothersome, they are able touse a chain to drag players backto them. To top it off, they also have abilities to immobilize them. Players will either have to pay their fine, let the guards kill them and take the fine, or be quick enough to escape.

9Loading Screens In Cyrodiil Are A Normal Thing
If there is one thing that is annoying to PvP players, it is the random loading screens that come out of nowhere in Cyrodiil. Depending on the campaign, players can experience a lot of lag while traveling throughout the province. For those who are really unlucky, a loading screen will pop up and could stay a while. Players could be in the middle of a fight against a zerg then find themselves staring at a loading screen. It pops up at inopportune times and players usually find their toons dead once the screen goes away.
8Everything Can Be Fixed With Crown Crates
It is a bit of running joke among players ofThe Elder Scrolls Onlinethat performance issues in game won’t be fixed, but Zenimax will always ensure the Crown Store is working perfectly. There’s a few thingsplayers would like to see addedor fixed, but it might not happen anytime soon. Though some players feel like new Crown Crates are being released to take their minds off of problems in the game.
7Stuga Will Always Be Looking
Ever since the release ofThe Elder Scrolls Online: Orsinium, players have been graced with a female Orc named Stuga looking for them. She can be found in Daggerfall, Vulkhel Guard, or Davon’s Watch, depending on the player’s alliance. If the player gets close to her area, she will approach them and say she’s been looking for them.

Stuga will continue to approach the player until they talk to her and receive the quest. It sounds simple enough, but most players just tend to ignore her.
6Those Mounts Are Pretty Sweet Though
One the main reasons players will buy Crown Crates is to getthe rare mountsthat come in them. Sure it’s a very rare chance to get a mount, but it is very rewarding when it happens. Players will spend millions of in-game gold or a lot real-life money to buy Crown Crates in hopes of getting the mount they want. Any player selling Crowns will find themselves richer in-game every time new Crown Crates are released.
5Everyone Queues For The Right Role
When queueing for dungeons, players can put themselves as any role they want. DPS usually find themselves waiting for a while since there’s so many players for that role.Healers might also findthemselves waiting a long time because a lot of DPS set their roles as healers in hopes of a faster queue.
It can be a little frustrating to not have the right roles in the group, especially if the dungeon is tough. Groups that need a healer might find that there’s three DPS instead of two. If queueing for the wrong role, it’s best not to queue for a difficult dungeon.

4Coldharbour Isn’t The Most Terrifying Place
The realm of Coldharbour is a rather scary place to be. It is the realm of the Daedric Prince, Molag Bal. It is a dark and dreadful realm with many powerful Daedra wandering around along with the poor souls imprisoned by Bal and his followers. When visiting this realm for the first time, players will meet Lyris Titanborn. Players can ask her where they’re at and she’ll reply to think about the most depressing and miserable place ever.

While Coldharbour isn’t the best place to be at, there areother places that are a lot creepier. One thing that makes Coldharbour a little less dreary is Sir Cadwell and his sense of humor.
3Cyrodiil Is Friendly To All Players
Cyrodiil can be a rough area for PvE players. If in a zerg, they won’t struggle too much and can get a lot accomplished. However, it only takes a few hardcore and experienced PvP players to wipe out a zerg. These players have absolutely no mercy when it comes to wiping out their enemies. During the Midyear Mayhem, they’re just waiting for PvE players tocome out to Cyrodiilto pick them off for easy AP.
2Waiting In Queue Might Take A While
Because there’s a lot of players that play as DPS, waiting in queue to get into a dungeon is the worst. It could take between 20-45 minutes to wait for the queue to pop. It can be very frustrating to wait for that long, especially if the player joins a group that’s halfway done with the dungeon.
PvP players also have to wait in a long queue sometimes. Players with high MMR in Battlegrounds are usually waiting for long time whether they’re solo or in a group. Even queuing for Cyrodiil might take a while if the campaign is full.

1There’s A Lot More To Do Than Just PvP
It might be hard to believe, but some hardcore PvP players have not done anything outside of PvP. Some have not done a single quest or run a dungeon. They usually stay in Cyrodiil or fight in Battlegrounds. It might seem like a waste sinceThe Elder Scrolls Onlineis such a massive game with seemingly countlessquests and areas to explore.
But not every player wants to go on quests and just want to fight other players to see who’s the best. Even though some of the quests offer armor and weapons that PvP players might need, but luckily PvE players are there to do the quests. This means the PvP player doesn’t have to do the quest and can buy it off the PvE player and the PvE player has extra money on their pockets.
