Speak With the Elder
Leave the dungeon and return to the village. Head to the Elder who is in the building in the top left corner of the village. He will tell players that they must go up to Mt. Crenel and speak with Melari about reforging the Picori Blade. Afterward, the Elder will open a curtain concealing a door that leads to another part of the Minish Woods.
Go out the door and follow the path to reach a small mushroom house. Talk to the Minish inside the house andhe will give players a Bomb Bag with 10 bombs in it. Approach the stump and use it to return to the normal size. Continue along the path and interact with the monument nearby. It will crumble upon being interacted with, but this will be important later.

Further ahead is several rocks that block the path out of the forest. Fortunately, these cracked rocks can be destroyed with a bomb. Place the bomb down and then move back to avoid taking any damage from the blast. With the rocks destroyed, the path out of the forest is clear.
Go to Hyrule Town
Before heading to Mt. Crenel, players will have to make a quick stop through Hyrule Town as that is the only way to get to Mt. Crenel at present sincethe rest of Hyrulecan’t be accessed. When players arrive, an older man will approach and give players a Kinstone bag for storing Kinstones. Kinstones can be combined to open blocked off areas. For example, in the tutorial for Kinstones, players will unlock the tree near the house at the start of the game. Inside this tree is a chest that contains a Piece of Heart.
To get to Mt. Crenel, go through the west exit of Hyrule Town. However, players won’t be able to leave right away as a guard is blocking the way. He will only let players through if they know a sword technique.

To learn a technique, go down to a building near the south entrance of the town. The man inside this building, Swiftblade, will teach players the spin attack. It doesn’t cost any money, so players won’t have to worry about that. Before leaving town,go to the shop and pick up a bigger wallet for 80 Rupees. There isn’t a lot that players can do in the town at present, so when ready talk to the guard and show off the spin attack. He will let players through and give them access to the next area.
Along the way, look for a nearby ladder and go down it to find a Deku Scrub similarto the one encountered earlier. Deflect the nut back at it and then talk it to purchase an empty bottle from him for 20 Rupees. It may not seem useful, but this empty bottle will come in handy later.

Explore Mt. Crenel
At the base of Mt. Crenel, players will see a series of vines they can use to climb up.On the far left is a vine that leads to 20 Rupees. One of the vines is not fully grown, and will require players to use the empty bottle to get some water and pour it onto the seed. Thankfully, the water works instantaneously. Up ahead is a wall that looks climbable, but unfortunately players cannot do so, yet. Instead, use a bomb to open a nearby wall to reveal the entrance to a cave.
Inside this cave, use the mushroom to launch to the other side. There will be a new type of enemy wearing a metal mask.Use the Gust Jarto remove the mask off of these monsters and then attack them with the sword. Move on and use the nearby door to go outside.

Ezlo will tell players that he can be used as a parachute whenever there is a gust of wind. Simply jump down into the gust of wind and Ezlo will turn into a parachute similar to the leaf inWind Waker. Navigate toward the gust of wind on the left and then move toward the other side of the ledge next to it.
Find the Green Seed
In order to go further up the mountain, players will need to find a green seed and drop it into the hole. To find the seed, look for a circle of dead trees that surround a cluster of silver objects that can be removed with the Gust Jar. Removing these obstacles will reveal a stone that can be used to shrink. From there, go left and then up to see a spot with green water and two vines. Enter this area that can only be accessed when small and go up.
At a dead end is a large green seed. Despite its size, players will be able to pick it up and carry it out of the area. Drop it into the nearby hole and the seed will be ready for watering. Unfortunately, regular water does not work on this seed.

Instead, players will need to find Mt. Crenel Mineral Water to make the green seed grow into a vine. To reach the Mt. Crenel Mineral Water, look for a sign that says “Beware Crumbling Walls! Blasting Strictly Prohibited!”. Ignore that sign anduse a bomb in the space between the fences next to the signto reveal a hidden cave. Dodge or kill the three Red Chuchus and then go up the ladder to reach a stone that can be used to shrink.
Before using the stone, place a bomb next to the cracked rock and then shrink. Go through the area cleared by the destruction of the rock and head toward the small green pool. This is a pool of Mt. Crenel Mineral Water.

Fill the empty bottle, return to normal size, and return to the green seed. Just like with the other seeds, this one will grow instantlywhen players pour the water onto it. Before going up the vine, go down the nearby ladder and go left. From there walk up a path that leads to a dead end. Use a bomb to reveal a hidden chamber with two chests and a Piece of Heart. To reach the chests, players will need to blow up the red blocks with bombs first.

How to Get the Grip Ring
Go up the new vine to reach a new area. From here, players will be very limited with where they can go as there are several rock walls that cannot be climbed yet. In this new area, go east and look for a small bridge. Go to the other side and place a bomb against the wall to reveal an entrance to a cave.
Inside this cave is a chest containing a Kinstone piece, and there is a set of stairs leading up. On the next floor is a new kind of Chuchu that turns into a spike covered ball. Either stun them with a bomb or attack them with the sword when they return to their normal form.

Go outside and use the gust of wind to reach the other side. From there, go up the ladder and head east to find a wall that can be destroyed with a bomb. Enter the cave to find a Deku Scrubwho will sell players the Grip Ring for 40 Rupees. It is impossible to go any further without the Grip Ring, so make sure to purchase it.
Remember all of those rock walls that couldn’t be climbed? With the Grip Ring, players will finally be able to climb them. This also gives players access to shortcuts that make it easier to go up and down Mt. Crenel.

How to Get a Bigger Bomb Bag
Leave the cave and go west to reach a climbable rock wall. Go up it to enter a new area. While climbing the rock wall, move to dodge falling boulders. Instead of going up, go right to reach a small ledge with a sign that says: “No Bomb Throwing”. Just like earlier, ignore that sign and place a bomb between the fences to reveal a cave.
Inside this cave is a large fountain. Throw a bomb into the water and a fairy will appear. She will ask players if they threw a gold bomb or a silver bomb.Choose neither, and she will give players a Big Bomb Bag that can hold up to 30 bombs.
Leave the cave and continue climbing up the rock wall to reach a new area. Use the mushroom to go to the other side of Mt. Crenel. Use the stone to grow small and move through the ravine. Rain drops are more harmful for players since they are small, so watch out for the shadows on the ground and dodge the drops of water to avoid taking damage.
How to Solve the First Boulder Puzzle
To progress, players will need to move some boulders and push them into holes. There is one boulder sitting on its own and players will need to move it to get it in place. In order to get the boulder into place, push it in the follow order.
Push the other boulder out of the way and then go down the nearby ladder. Go down the hallway and push boxes to get to the next area. Up ahead, players will see a mushroom that they can use to launch across the hole in the floor. Before doing so, use the Gust Jar to pull the pots away from the edge.
How to Solve the Second Boulder Puzzle
In the next area, throw a bomb across the hole to hit the gray object on the other side. The explosion causes a bridge to appear. Go across the bridge and go outside. Up ahead, the only path forward is through another doorway.
In the next room is another boulderpuzzle that players must solve. While it has fewer steps than the previous one, the solution is as follows.
This will allow players to access a set of stairs. Go down to reach another floor where there is a doorway that leads outside. Before leaving, verify to open the chest and get the Kinstone fragment.
Outside is a stone that can be used to shrink. Go around through the ravine to reach a mine run by the Minish. Go around and down a series of stairs to reach the middle where the Master Smith, Melari, is. Talk to him and he will agree to help with the restoration of the Picori Blade afterit was destroyed by Vaati. But first, players will need to get the other three elements. As it turns out, the second element is in the mines that were once run by humans.
Go up the stairs, go left, and talk to the Minish blocking the door. They will let players pass and the second dungeon, the Cave of Flames, is just beyond this door.
