After a break from the galaxy far, far away, Din Djarin and Grogu are back forThe MandalorianSeason 3. Although Din Djarin may be a man of few words, and Grogu far too young to speak, it does not mean thatThe Mandaloriangoes without smart dialogue and fun one-liners, whether that’s from Din Djarin or the many faces that he interacts with.

In watchingThe MandalorianSeason 3, Episode 1, audiences will enjoy an array of quotes that will continue the tradition ofStar Warsfilms and shows from having iconic lines.Star Warsis no stranger to great quotes, andThe MandalorianSeason 3, Episode 1 stands on its own.

8“No Squeezie”

As if things couldn’t get any cuter for Baby Yoda inThe Mandalorian, the now-named Grogu encountered a species that even he could not resist giving a hug to.The Force-sensitiveGrogu squeezes and hugs an Anzellan, a very small and squeezable species of talented droidsmiths.

The Anzellan that was squeezed by Grogu repeats “No squeezie” and “Bad baby,” which adds to the cuteness of the scene, and makes for a memorable appearance of the Anzelllan, as well as adding to one of Grogu’s cutest moments.

7“Never Trust A Pirate”

Din Djarin teaches Grogu some valuable lessons as they venture across the galaxy far, far away together. One of those lessons involves the duocaptured by space pirates, in which they are threatened with their ship in exchange for their lives.

Without skipping a beat, Din Djarin lets Grogu know to “never trust a pirate,” and activates the N-1 Starfighter’s special button, which causes them to roar at high speeds, making the pirates lose them. It’s a good motto to live by, considering how much pirates love double-crossing inStar Wars.

6“Being A Mandalorian’s Not Just Learning About How To Fight”

As Yoda once said: “Unlearn what you have learned.” This quote rings true for Din Djarin, who lets Grogu know that “being a Mandalorian’s not just learning about how to fight.” Here, Din Djarin is giving some fatherly teachings, and showing to Grogu the importance of a Mandalorian, and not just in the ways of combat.

It’s a sweet moment between father and son, and one that fans expect more of fromThe MandalorianSeason 3, as Grogu and Din Djarin find themselves bound as parent and child. It’s a clear indication that Din Djarin intends to teach Grogu the ways of a Mandalorian.

5“I Shall Walk The Way Of The Mand’alore”

The opening scene ofThe Mandalorian’s third season shows a large cluster of the clan of Mandalorians celebrating the induction of a young member into their flock. It’s interesting to look into the initiation of a new member of Mandalorians, and their unique and colorful sets of armor.

The Armorer and the newest recruit follow the linesto honor tradition, and the young boy promises “I shall walk the way of the Mand’alore,” showing how this is a life, a religion, and not just a way to get a fancy space helmet.

4“His Name Is Grogu”

It seems as if Din Djarin is tired of everyone calling his son an asset, a child, or a little critter. Din Djarin corrects Greef Karga and informs him that “his name is Grogu,” indicating that the once Baby Yoda has a name. It’s a cute moment that shows that Din Djarin cares about Grogu as more than a mystery, and wants people to know his name.

There’s always an advantage to seeing Grogu, and to have Din Djarin introduce him as a son, rather than hide him in his floating crib shows just how far he has come as a father rather than as a bounty hunter. Hopefully, Din does not introduce Grogu to the wrong people.

3“Try Me”

There’s always a benefit to westerninfluences inStar Wars. As Greef Karga tries to talk down thepirates in Nevarro, he is met with a classic offer for a standoff. This showdown sees Greef Karga and Vane waiting for the other to draw their blaster, but it is Karga’s collective coolness about the situation that wins the quote.

In the fashion one would expect from a cold delivery like Clint Eastwood, Greef Karga replies to Vane’s comments on his softness by simply saying “Try me,” and showing his blaster. Greef may be a High Magistrate, but when violence is knocking at his door, he will answer.

2“Terminate Asset”

The optimism and surprise around IG-11’s return were met with something out of a horror film. The returning assassin droid seemed to have forgotten its reprogramming and had defaulted to its original settings of needing to “Terminate asset,” that asset being the beloved Grogu, who was thetarget of IG-11inThe Mandalorian’s pilot episode.

The deadpan delivery of this line, reading more of an instruction than a passion, makes for a haunting line. It helps add to the horror of the scene when Din Djarin shoots the droid, yet it keeps dragging itself across the floor, unphased, and unwavering.

1“You Are A Fool”

It seems that Bo Katan is still holding a grudge against Din Djarin over the ownership of the Darksaber. This very weapon is key to Mandalore tradition, and whoever wields it will be able to lead those that remain true to Mandalore’s ways. In losing this weapon, Bo Katan has lost her followers, and her trusted allies, leaving her in an empty castle with no plans to return to Mandalore.

As Din Djarin enters, full of hope for Mandalore, Bo Katan simply states “You are a fool.” It seems that Bo Katan has no interest in Din Djarin’s plans, nor will she help. There seems to be a slip in Bo Katan’s helpful nature, and perhaps something darker festers inside her.
