Speaking in an interview withNew Rockstars, Vellani, one of the newest members of the MCU, has revealed that she hasn’t seenX-Men: Dark Phoenixyet. During the interview, Vellani was asked which X-Men universe Teyonah Parris' character Monica Rambeau was in duringThe Marvels' post-credits scene. The actor replied, “Any X-Men universe is fine – that’s not true! I still refuse to watchDarkPhoenix.”
Vellani became a favorite in the Marvel Cinematic Universe afterher start inMs.Marvel. On the other hand, her role inTheMarvelsmade people believe she is one of the most promising talents in the MCU. Besides her Ms. Marvel role, she gained fame for being a big fan of comic books. In an interview withVarietylast year, Vellani had a tough time explaining her journey from Marvel fan to superhero and how she got support from stars like Brie Larson, Simu Liu, and more. She said, “The fact that I have these people by my side is more than I could have ever asked for.”
However, not watchingDarkPhoenixis a big step, and she might have her reasons for not watching the film.DarkPhoenixfaced a lot of wrathfrom the critics and audiences.
