Call of DutyZombieshas built up quite the legacy in the 13 years since it made its debut, as the mode has spanned across several games. With such a loyal fanbase built up, Treyarch decided to showcase some of theCall of DutyZombies community’s best creations for Halloween.
Call of DutyZombies has changed several times since it first began. What started as a simple side mode with nameless soldiers evolved into a complex story with aliens, time travel, and different dimensions. Aseparate Zombies storylineleaned into mythology, whileCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warbegan the Dark Aether story, which built off the original narrative in some interesting ways. Throughout all the iterations of the mode, iconic weapons and characters have appeared, many of which are honored through Treyarch’s selection of fan art.

The Tweet starting the thread features an amazingCall of DutyZombies collection from Redditor NooliesKnickKnacks. It includes a mini Wunderfizz, CRBR-S and RAI K-84 replicas, and a fire sale keychain. Replicas of the LT53 Kazimir grenade and Field Upgrade canisters are also visible, as well as some individual perk cans and bottles. A follow-up Tweet showcases Kortifex the Deathless, a Dark Aether entity and the main antagonist fromCall of Duty: VanguardZombies. Reddit user fictitious_man made the villain entirely out of Brickheadz blocks, which likely took a lot of time and effort.
Further in the threat, an adorable piece of fan art from @BigMacMelle can be seen. In the piece, a chibi version of Samantha Maxis is on display, with the Zombies character holding theAether Bunnyin her arms. She also sits in front of a Dark Aether crystal, which is a nice touch. This was followed up by a Redditor Heith16’s Monkey Bomb tattoo. A spectacular Thunder Gun replica built by @RenegadeLD is showcased, as is a Ray Gun drawing made by Reddit user WillTFB.
An incredible replica of the Summoning Key is seen, with glowing blue symbols on every side of the sphere. With the item being so crucial to the story ofCall of Duty: Black Ops 3Zombies, fans have seen it plenty over the years. Fortunately, this replica looks just as cool as the in-game artifact, with different patterns and lines seen all over the Summoning Key. The thread is capped off with an awesome,video game-themed pumpkin designthat shows off the chalk outline for an MP40 wall buy.
