Pokemon GOplayer SilentKiller2809 took to Reddit to tell the tale of their brother losing their valuable Master Ball thanks to their younger cousin. According to the user, their brother had chosen to take a nap, and left their phone unguarded on the bed. The seven-year-old took the phone, booted up the game, and apparentlyfound a Gastlyin the area and threw the player’s Master Ball at it. Apparently, the catch went unnoticed until the player went to trade the Gastly, at which point they realized it noted that it had been caught using a Master Ball.

Another common sentiment from the fan community is that the 7-year-old should get their own account, earn a Master Ball, and that it should be subsequently wasted by the OP’s brother to return the favor and teach the child a lesson.
