Fashion brand Cath Kidston has released a handful of its most iconic designs for decorative use inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons.
For gamers in mandatory lockdown,Animal Crossing: New Horizonsturned out to be a blessing during quarantine. It granted players a creative outlet to pour hours upon hours into, and many have honed their artistic side by utilizing the Custom Designs and Design Pro tools. The Internet has seen designs ranging fromoriginal artwork to popular cosplayslikeHarry Potteruniforms andSailor Moon’s iconic outfit.

Many companies have alsocreated Animal Crossing themed merch, including London’s home furnishing brand Cath Kidston, who recently released QR codes of three of their most iconic designs. The brand describes its playful prints as “unique, drawing inspiration from British culture” displaying the “fondest memories of our in-house design team.”

Button Rose

TodownloadAnimal Crossing: NHdesigns, players will first have to make sure they have the Nintendo Switch Online app downloaded onto their iOS or Android mobile device. Connect your Nintendo account. Then, you’ll need to set up NookLink by pressing ‘-’ in the title screen ofAC:NHto get to the settings menu. Select the option for NookLink and wait for the game to make the connection via your Nintendo account.
Once this is done and players have established a connection between app and Switch console, they will be able to scan QR codes on their phone by clicking ‘Designs’ after entering theAnimal Crossingsection of the app. This will open up the QR code scanner, which can download Cath Kidston’s adorably homey designs, as well asmany other themedAnimal Crossingoutfits.
