There hasn’t been a brand-new mainline sinceHeroes of Manain 2007 for the Nintendo DS, and now, after more than 15 years, a new installment arrives inVisions of Mana.Visions of Manawill feature monsters, characters, and elements characteristic of the series and will also maintainMana’s iconic three-member combat systemin an expansive and colorful open-world action-RPG setting.

The latest trailer forVisions of Manarevealed more details about its gameplay and confirmed the release date for August 29 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. The trailer also provided more insights intoVisions of Mana’s battle system, showcasing its improvements from the action-based system foundin otherManagamesand how each character can use Element Vessels to change their classes and acquire new abilities. Additionally, two new characters, Palamena and Julei, were revealed, bringing the number of playable characters to five.

Visions of Mana Release Date

Some familiar side characters from theManafranchise were spotted during the trailer, such as Niccolo, the anthropomorphic rabbit merchant, the baby dragon Flammie, and Vuscav, a giant turtle that serves as maritime transport in otherManagames. Square Enix confirmed that players will be able tofly around in the open worldofVisions of Manawith Flammie.

Alongside the release date, Square Enix revealed bonus items for pre-ordering the game. Players who pre-order will receive the Brave Blade weapon for Val and those who purchaseVisions of Manabefore July 11, 2025, will receive the Guardian Garment outfit for Val, as well as a set of items that can be used to increase the amount of experience points and loot earned for a fixed period of time.
